Keith Prather was the perfect guide...knowledgeable and well prepared, pleasant and welcoming. He made us feel comfortable on his boat and worked constantly to ensure we had every possible chance at catching fish. And we caught several large stripe! Definitely worth the cost! Would highly recommend to couples and families. We're already planning a trip back!

Top rate guide service! If you want on fish while visiting Smith Lake, then give Keith a call. He is extremely experienced and can work with even unexperienced anglers or kids. He can even get you on spotted bass and crappie. He runs a good size center console that is comfortable to ride in and uses good equipment. First class service. Give this guy a try.

My son and I had an awesome time fishing with Keith! Felt like we were fishing with a friend we had known for years. Keith is great with kids and the setup he uses makes it fun for them to reel in large fish. We are already looking forward to fishing with him again! If you want to catch fish Captain Keith is your guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He put us on plenty of fish and at some points we couldn’t keep up with the amount of fish we were catching. Keith was an awesome guide. We will definitely use him on a return trip and I can’t recommend him enough.

Just a great experience. There are a lot of talented fishermen who can take you on a boat, but I love the way Mike engages with his guests. There is a lot of the normal adult-to-adult interactions, but...

He is really exceptional with the kids. Mike Perry is THE guy you want on-board when there are kids involved. He is INCREDIBLY patient, knows what he is doing, and enjoys their honest questions. My ten-year-old grandson at one point asked "can we call you 'Captain Mike?'" I saw a bit of a smile as Mike was tending to the lines and said "of course." From then on, he was just "Captain Mike." I like it :)

He kindly answered their ENDLESS questions with the spirit of a natural-born teacher, who just happens to pilot a boat.

At the end of the day, when we were swapping handshakes and saying our good-byes, Mike got down on their level and told my grandsons that he liked the fact that they were bold and asked a lot of questions and that a lot of kids shy away, but they did not.

He was sincere and it landed on them as sincere.

As a "Pop-Pop" who also loves this part of my grandkids, I was just so happy that he made them feel valued. On the drive back to Huntsville, they talked a lot about "Captain Mike."

My two kids 8 and 10 and myself had a great time fishing with Keith. They keep asking me when we going fishing with Keith again.

Jason is a stand up guy. At Smith’s fishing adventures it’s like fishing with Dad if only it were called catching. Very knowledgeable in a variety of fishing styles. Never have I been disappointed when accompanying this guide guru.

Keith was a really nice guy and knew exactly what he was doing. We enjoyed catching striped bass as big as 11 pounds that day. I had a good time learning from someone so willing to explain things. Awesome!

Captain Keith went the extra mile to ensure we had a good time, and catch monster fish. First class all the way around. His boat was awesome, and he was as well. We will be back, and I am telling all my friends to go.

I have had only one other time I charter the boat and the guy clean my fish and cut off the Ted and that was it this guy filleted my fish cleaned it all up awesome and I had a seven-year-old and a 13-year-old my seven year old was quite rambunctious but the captain Keith was really great I wish I could leave in 10 stars yeah
