Lisa's Restaurant & Lounge

My friend and I stopped in at Lisa's Restaurant during a day trip to Augusta. The atmosphere was great - it's a casual place to eat that's very clean and inviting, and the food was good.

We also had a very friendly and enthusiastic waitress (Hannah?) who really elevated the experience and made us feel welcome. I would definitely stop in again on a future visit.

First time here. Service was excellent. Waitstaff very friendly, food was very good, with the exception of the chili. It was too thick for our liking but other than that, everything else was great. Huge portions. Will definitely be back to try their breakfast. We had the reuben, bacon burger and honey dipped chicken.

Food was really good. Fried Haddock sandwich was very large with light breading and soft flaky fish. Onion rings were very good as well and not greasy at all. Our server was professional, attentive and friendly

We dropped in on a suggestion from a friend. What a great suggestion. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food that was on the menu. Food came quickly and was delicious 😋. My absolute favorite were the Brussel sprouts in firecracker sauce. It is worth the trip!!!

The server was very friendly. The portions are huge! Best fries around! They also were great about making my friends off menu request (a grilled chicken salad with bacon and ranch on the side). Their good salad sandwich (added bacon) was great!

Penny was an excellent host. Thank you for being warm and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Try the sausage gravy and biscuits with eggs. Restaurant was eaay to locate, parking is plentiful and seating accommodates small to large parties. Plan to visit here again when in the area.

When you want a simple, satisfying meal in New England you go where the cops and the truck drivers eat. There are basically two choices and Lisa's is the only one open all day. Portions are generous and well prepared with attention to details (like toasting the whole surface of bread, not just the middle). Prices are low and service is great. Full bar is open in the pm and large groups are accommodated with advance notice. Lisa's also caters weddings and such at your location and does a great job. Well worth a visit and a safe bet for the whole family.

I was pretty impressed with the appearance and the taste. The portions were also pretty good-sized. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will go back.. The service was also great.

First time visit in today and will definitely be returning. We were meeting up with friends from out of town and we were all very pleased by not only the food but the service. We were waited on by Faith and she was just so sweet and helpful. The prices were reasonable and the portions were ample and so much was homemade. The stuffed mushrooms, Hillbilly sandwich, fries and onion rings were a big hit! I have probably driven by before and not even noticed it, but that won't happen again. Thanks for a lovely lunch experience today!

The food here is PHENOMENAL. We had the seafood chowder and and spin dip and let me just say could not get a enough of the seafood chowder. Most amazing chowder I have EVER had. So good I wanted to buy drinks for the entire kitchen. Phenomenal food great atmosphere amazing staff. 10/10 would recommend. Will be coming back!!!

Cannot say enough great things about Lisa's! From the stuffed haddock to the mouthwatering chowder, this place does not disappoint! The staff are always kind, efficient, and friendly. It doesn't matter if you eat in or take out, they treat you great and the food is consistently amazing! Highly recommend!

We had a great server, prices are standard for normal portions, but these portions aren't normal! HUGE! We had a great breakfast and look forward to trying lunch and dinner there as well! Great local find!

The service was great. The food was delicious. Had an early reservation for 11am and we got sat immediately . They accommodated our wheelchair and were very prompt with the service. Thanks Lisa for making thanksgiving special...

An excellent food find in Augusta, Maine. I go there quite often. They have great food and the service has been wonderful. It is a nice break from all the chain restaurants in the area. Highly recommend.

I love everything about this restaurant. Always great service, food is delicious every time, and the portion of the food is nearly enough for 2. Firecracker Brussels sprouts my favorite thing on the menu!! As for a meal, I loved 😍 the honey dipped chicken ❤🤌 This local eats is a must try.

The waitress was friendly and attentive. It's a home style restaurant. Had a salad and it was huge.

Omg..where to start! We had quick service and since it was our first time there the waitress had some very good recommendations. Make sure you try their Sweet Tea Moonshine..you will not be disappointed!!

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. We arrived at @4:30pm, It's quiet relaxing dinner where the staff were available & reliable. The portions were more than we could eat. I enjoyed the 'Lisa Sampler appetizers ' consisting of Chicken tenders, Mozzarella sticks, huge pile of homemade onion rings, loaded with potato skins; which was a meal in it's own right....while my wife had a 'Lisa's Bacon Burger Club' with homemade chips. It was a huge burger & extremely delicious & very filling.
We had to have a Doggie bag for the leftovers that tasted excellent on the second day warmed up in a microwave at home. The cost was @37.58 plus a tip.
If you don't investigate this restaurant, you are missing out on the experience of a lifetime in homemade cooking.
We plan to return to Lisa Restaurant verysoon for another delicious meal.

Went for breakfast again. No disappointment AGAIN! Food delicious, servings generous, staff very friendly and helpful. If you decide to go, put your fat pants on in preparation 😁

Wonderful food, cheese curds were amazing! Everything tasted fresh and homemade, good prices and portions ( I’m talking the most french fries I’ve ever seen for a side) our waitress was very attentive and did a wonderful job. Wish we lived closer to come here for breakfast! The menu has great options. We will definitely return when in Augusta, loved it!
