Dr. Odeane H. Connor, MD

Dr. Connor is an excellent doctor. As Pain Management Specialist go, she is one in a million. She truly listens to her patients and responds to their individual needs. She takes care to follow State and Federal guidelines by performing regular drug screens and blood and nerve tests. She has helped me to live with my pain, gain better concentration in college and at work. She takes the time to discuss the different options available for people living with my spinal conditions, and her personal experience with surgery and injections. I have been seeing her for around 3 years, and have always been treated with kindness and dignity. I have never been treated like someone who is simply seeking medication, as some doctors treat patients. I have been diagnosed and evaluated for my particular condition, and treated appropriately. The only negative thing I have to say about seeing Dr. Connor is the wait time. I have never been to an appointment that didn't last at least 2.5 - 3 hours. She is an excellent doctor with a lot of patients, so the office visits take a while.

Today was my first appointment and they follow social distancing and everyone had face masks. So i felt comfortable being there, and the staff was so kind. Dr Connor was just a gem, what an absolutely sweet lady. You can tell she really cares about her patients. I give them a 5 star rating, and would refer them to anyone!

I have only had 2 visits with Dr Conner, my first impressions of her are great!
I love my primary care physician but have such a limited time with him, it is like you only can tell them so much in the appointment allotted time. Walk ins get even less, I might be having multiple symptoms but can't tell them about all, just pick the one that they can treat now.
I went to see Dr Conner on a scheduled visit, but she noticed somethings unrelated to my visit. It was enough that she had me in the ER for testing within a hour.
She cares about her patients, and in her position, some people would take advantage.
I would find it hard not to be critical. She trust her patients and I feel they trust her, I do.
Everyone knows that feeling when you go to ER or a Dr with a unseen injury or with pain, you feel like a drug seeker until you can prove that you are not. She shows empathy, concern, Knowledge, and common sense.
If there is a down side of her practice, I have yet to see it. I really hope now, that someone listens and believes me, that they may find out what is wrong. Tired of trying so hard to live and suffering they whole time. I want to be me again.

I have been going to Dr. Conner for 9 or 10 years and have been very involved in the decisions regarding my care and the medication I take! I am fearful of some pain meds. And she has always listened to me and discussed my concerns!
I feel she always has my best interest at heart and works to help me get to a therapeutic level so I can function to take care of myself and be the most productive person I can be!
I will always want her for my doctor and I trust her with my life.

Dr Connor is one of the FEW, one of the GREAT, ONE IN A MILLION. Before i met Dr Conner, I felt hopeless, believing the best portion of my life was over. The pain had crippled me, and taken me from the day to day lives of my children.
Since beginning treatment with Dr Connor, almost a year ago now, I feel ALIVE again! My children have their father back, and i have hope! I have my life back. Words truly cannot express my gratitude to Dr Connor. She is the best doctor i have EVER been associated with!! She is an angel from heaven here to help those in need!

I have been going to Dr. Connor for 10 years. She's been there as a physician and friend. She always there when you need her to be. Angela and all of the staff are precious people. If your not happy there then you need to evaluate the real reason your there asking for medication. I trust her to also care for my mother and other family members. You want the best doctor in Alabama for your pain care then go see Dr. Conner.

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! Dr. Connor and her staff are the best! They treat you like family! No other Dr cares more for her patients than her! I wish she was still in business. I miss her. I can't find another Dr.

She's very caring and loving it's so hard to find a good Doctor with good bedside manners and she all the time you need to answer any and all of your questions. I am so happy that she is doing well.

I've been with Dr Odean Connor for over twenty years now and she is the nicest and friendliest and best doctor pain doctor that I went to and I went to several.
