This is definitely the best place to get what you need for growing organically. In fact they are the only place within a 2 hour radius from Abingdon that I'm aware of. I had a long list and they only had a few of the items I was needing but they were priced reasonable which saved me from giving more of my $$ to Amazon. They have basic amendments and they carry Maine compost which actually works better than expected. Also a great place to get perlite, a huge bag for $20.

The owner gets 5 stars from me too. He knows his stuff but still welcoming to noobs. And for things he didn't have he mentioned looking into it to stock for me. So awesome place awesome people.

An excellent place to obtain seeds, feed and tools. They have many organic options. Locally owned store with the owner always present. They also do knife and tool sharpening.

Great place and very helpful they carry everything from Coast of Maine, and pro mix, organic fertilizer, worm castings and much much more.

I live about an hour from Abingdon, but Wolf Farm is my go-to place. They match prices on Seven Springs products (of which they stock many and can order all). So many things they do, like group Fedco seed orders, are done as a labor of love to support organic farming in the area. I recommend Wolf Farm for organic pest controls and fertilizers, animal feed, irrigation supplies, packaging (e.g. egg crates & berry boxes), and seed potatoes and onion sets, but there's something for everyone here and the service and prices are the best.

Great couple that own and run the place. I drive over an hour each way to buy my organic chicken feed from them.

It was a bit of a drive from Wytheville but a great selection of what we needed for our organic responsible garden and even important growing tips.
