Love's Ice Cream & Chocolate

We absolutely LOVE Love’s!
Every flavor we’ve tried (dairy free included) has been phenomenal. Their Mad Cap coffee is the best coffee ice cream we have EVER had and our current fave is the Caramel PB Cookie!! They make a divine chocolate milkshake as well!

My daughter loves their icecream. This place has amazing icecream flavors. We also love this place because their icecream base doesn’t have any high fructose corn syrup and all the food coloring in icecream is natural colors.

All of the flavors and ingredients are natural and freshly sourced — even organic!

Each flavor tastes so pure and true...what it was meant to be. They have done a fantastic job, and it’s the only kind of ice cream I crave! Also, the VEGAN GELATO will change your life! I’m not a vegan, I just love delicious ice cream, and these coconut cream based gelatos are AMAZING. The nice part about it, is that you don’t need a whole lot, because they don’t whip as much air into the ice cream as the “other guys,” so it’s a much denser, more filling ice cream. A is just plenty for me, and a whole scoop is a treat! Their waffle bowls are delicious as well!

They also have a WIDE selection of chocolates & other treats, and they offer gift cards. Really fabulous vegan and non-vegan chocolate. We’ve received gift cards here for birthday presents. Great gift idea!

Alert!!!⚠ This icecream is some of the most creamy I have ever had! It was so delicious. You better get your fix of that amazing treat.

A cute experience, as always. My child shocked me and got mint chocolate chip, instead of her normal vanilla and that speaks volumes to me!

We had Love's provide ice cream and cookies for our September 2022 wedding at Downtown Market and they were amazing to work with! First, the ice cream and cookies were delicious and we received so many compliments from guests. The staff working the event was friendly and Laura was excellent with communication leading up to the event. We are so happy we chose Love's and it is one of our favorite parts of the wedding! Thank you so much.

Best I've cream by far in Grand Rapids....live the flavors and options. I enjoy the vegan ice cream too. Now with their bar and chocolate expansion, it is even better. They also cater!

If you want incredible ice cream and vegan gelato, this is the place! Honestly, their vegan ice cream is creamier than most traditional, store-bought ice cream. Absolutely amazing, I adore this place. Almost every item they have is GF, too!

Flights of ice cream! What a great idea! Everything was great, 6 flavors of non dairy Gelato. About 14 flavors of regular ice cream. Great place to eat ice cream and people watch. Will be returning!

Love’s has the best ice cream! My favorites are the PB cookie and toffee caramel (I think that’s what it is) and their cookie dough. I’m GF so it’s awesome that they have GF choices. Also, their GF brownies are to die for! They are very rich and the texture is great! I also love their chocolate chip and PB cookies. You really can’t go wrong there!

Took a drive to get to this place today…located inside the busy Grand Rapids Market downtown, the area was very congested and busy. I got 2 pints of ice cream to go. I tried one of the flavors and it is delicious. It is pricey, but you definitely can taste and understand why, it’s very decadent and not your grocery store stuff. They have a large freezer upfront with all the different “pints to go” flavors. Bring dry ice—if you are not local and have to travel longer before it can be stored in a freezer again. My only disappointment was the help at the counter, they were not friendly and just wanted me to go away as quickly as possible it seemed.

We stopped after a visit to House Rules across the street, and.the Happy Cat Cafe before that, and it was fantastic as always. I tried their Amaretto Cherry for the first time, and absolutely loved it.

Love this place and its location in the Grand Rapids downtown marker. Amazing ice cream. All of their flavors are so unique, and their ice cream making method is the original method! I got the lavender blueberry and it was delicious. I will definitely come back here on my next visit to Grand Rapids!

Love's ice cream is an excellent place to get a little treat. The ice cream was incredible. I asked where they sourced their ice cream and was told that is is made by the store's own workers behind the back wall. The ice cream is a testament to the skill and dedication of the people who work there.

I have been here a few times. Most recently, the cashier/store worker was polite, let me sample a flavor, explained anything I had a question about or was unsure of, and did not push or rush me. I had the Caramel Cookie Crunch (I think that's what it is called) ice cream and it was so good! It had all the flavors I love and was very creamy. Their chocolate chip cookie was acceptable as well, plenty of chocolate which I will never complain about, but for me, lacking in the dough/cookie flavor. It did have a pleasant crispy yet soft texture. Overall, a definite crowd pleaser and a cute shop! It is really nice to have a spot on the lower level of the Market to sit and eat your treats!

Great stop for something sweet at the downtown market. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and courteous. Georgia paired up two recommendations for me: cashew caramel and peanut butter. What a delicious combo! Prefect for a summer day downtown.

Is it too cheesy to say that I LOVE love's? Well too bad because I already said it. This place is so cute. They offer flights of ice cream. Again, I repeat, FLIGHTS OF ICE CREAM.

Ice cream flavors are all delicious. I had a few vegan and a few regular dairy. Definitely the best vegan ice cream I've ever had. I loved the cardamom orange flavor. So unique.

I look forward to going to love's every time I'm in town!
