My daughter and I shared a fun and fantastic afternoon together creating custom candles at Sustain’s scent bar. What a terrific experience we had with Alyssa as our candle consultant. We were able to spend time custom mixing scents until we found ones we loved and incorporated them in our candle base in beautiful vessels.
We highly recommend this experience not only for the beautiful candles but the time we were able to spend together.
We can’t wait to go back to make custom perfume!

I cannot say enough how much I love Sustain Boutique and Chandlery! The merchandise is both unique and affordable, and the staff is helpful and friendly. It is obvious the owner puts thought behind every item being sold. No two visits are exactly the same experience, with ever changing inventory and product displays.To add to the inviting atmosphere, in the back of the store, there is a candle bar, with walk in AND party options. Sustain is worth a visit every time you are in downtown Newburyport!

Sustain Boutique + Chandlery is just what Newburyport needed! It truly has something for everyone that is high quality while still being at an affordable price! I got most of my Christmas presents for family and friends here and they all were a big hit!

The place is phenomenal, The ambience is inviting, welcoming and the place just makes you feel relaxed as soon as you walk through the door. What’s better than being relaxed when you are in a place to let your creative juices flow. Sophisticated chill at its best.

I have hosted a couple of events and both were amazing. The staff is friendly, engaging and so kind. The store and products are top notch. I can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend.

Amazing boutique that has something for everyone. The women’s clothing is great quality, gorgeous jewelry, and even men’s lines! The homemade candles have scents for everyone and there’s even a space to host private events to make your own candles. Loved shopping here and will absolutely make it a regular stop.

Sustain has a great selection of quality men’s apparel. From bathing suites, hats, and golf shorts, every time I stop in there’s always something new. Awesome space, friendly staff for an overall great experience.

WARNING: Per owner's lips, she has a policy of 14 days grace returns after Christmas, nothing beyond, no return, no exchange, even with receipt, original bag and box, partial return, never worn, doesn't matter and you shouldn't question it according to the owner. Would have been better off purchasing with free returns and 30 day shipping window to Amazon Prime. Oh well, you live and learn to never do business with old school mentality brick and mortar. Welcome to the new year!

Called with a question on how to schedule coming in to make perfume and never got a call back so I stopped by the store. Told the associate my son wanted to make perfume for his girlfriend for Christmas. She wrote down when we could come and wrote down 11-5 on Christmas Eve. Stopped by and they were closed. So disappointed
