Woah! The assistants named Grace and Annalise are 5 stars alone!!! My daughter loved them! I highly recommend this office! Dr Don and his staff are nothing short of the best!

My son had to get braces a couple of years ago and we knew several friends that used this office. The braces have come and gone now but we still come for retainer checks. We have always had great service with Lakeview Orthodontics. The doctors and staff are great to work with and have gone above and beyond during a "braces crisis" to get us back on track. I would recommend this office to any one.

Dr. Schmidtke of Lakeview Orthodontics is absolutely great! He is the nicest man you will ever meet along with all his staff who are just great which children. They are very thorough and kind and treat us like family. They take their time with you and don't just try to rush you through. I've never heard an unkind word about Dr. Schmidtke or his office. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Words can describe how thrilled we are for the results from my daughter's braces! She just recently had them removed and their care continues. Dr Don even perfected her smile after removal by trimming her gumline a bit. Madison had a serious overbite and now she has a beautiful smile! We have received friendly professional service every time we walked in the door. I will never forget how grateful I am after our emergency trip. Dr Alvis quickly met us in the middle of the night when Madison almost completely knocked out 2 of her front tooth in a softball accident. He reinserted her tooth that night and saw us again the next morning. The care we have received has been beyond any of our expectations. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I came in for a replacement retainer that I have lost twice! I saw Dr. Alves and he and his staff were very pleasant and did a good job on my replacement retainer. The office staff has always been very pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend Lakeview Orthodontics and will definitely use them for any future orthodontic needs.

Always a pleasant atmosphere. We are pleased that the office staff works well with our surgeon in Chattanooga. It is a big help to us and takes a lot of stress off of us. Thank you for being cooperative in every way.

The office staff is very accommodating and rearranged appointments for us so that we didn't have to make two trips to the office in one day for our two kids in braces. We were able to get both appointments done at the same time and were in and out of the office very quickly.

Dr. Schmidtke pays close attention to the needs of his patients. It was very cold the day we were there and it started snowing. While sitting in the lobby waiting on my son, the Dr came out to the lobby to find out if we were comfortable enough. Definitely will use them again. "

I only have wonderful things to say about Lakeview Orthodontics. My daughter, son and I have allowed the Lakeview Orthodonitcs Team to straighten our smiles. They are truly the best in their field. Its official… our 3rd child is in braces. Courtney’s care was provided by Dr Penny Taylor. I hated to use another ortho for my youngest baby, but the drive to Decatur would be too much, so I began praying & checking around for other’s experiences. Lakeview Orthodontics are highly recommended by Dr Humphries, Dr Penny Taylor made rounds under Dr. Alves many years ago, & my husband selected Lakeside Orthodontics for his son, Dalton's treatment. It seemed as if everyone I questioned, highly recommended Lakeside Orthodontics. My experience while they put Haley into braces was very positive, comforting, & they made us feel at home. Both Orthodontists & staff were very knowledgeable, professional, & happy to answer each of my many questions. I am very pleased with every aspect of our visit, & cannot wait to go back for her checkup!

We are in the process of the last of 3 children in braces. The staff is always friendly and the results are beautiful. We have not had a negative experience in the 6 years that we have been patients at Lakeview Orthodontics.

Currently Lakeview Orthodontics is treating our third child, Hallie. The customer service at Lakeview is awesome. Their staff is some of the best you will ever find in a doctors office. I would highly recommend their services.

We have had a great experience so far! The staff is all very friendly, the MD is kind, and the prices are reasonable. They are very busy, BUT they are always moving. We have never had a long wait, yet we never feel rushed.

Everyone was super nice and friendly. Dr. Schmidtke was very nice and explained everything perfectly. I am sorry I don't remember the dental assistance name but she was super sweet and good to Griffin.

Sarah got her braces yesterday and did wonderfully. She was nervous at the beginning, but Heather put her right at ease. Great experience....thank you!

As always, the appointment my son had the other day went very well! We were in and out within a very short amount of time. Very pleased!

" YESTERDAY WAS OUR FIRST VISIT TO LAKEVIEW ORTHODONTICS. WE SAW DR. SCHMIDTKE. THE ENTIRE STAFF WAS VERY HAPPY TO SEE US AND MADE THIS VISIT PLEASANT. DR. SCHMIDTKE EXPLAINED WHAT HE WOULD BE DOING TO BAYLEE'S TEETH IN SIMPLE TERMS THAT I COULD UNDERSTAND AND WHEN HE WAS DONE I FELT AS IF I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WOULD HAPPEN. THE ASSISTANT THAT MADE THE MOLDS FOR BAYLEE'S TEETH MADE THIS EXPERIENCE LESS AWKWARD AND ACTUALLY MADE US LAUGH THROUGH THE WHOLE THING. I AM VERY EXCITED TO GET THIS JOURNEY STARTED AND WILL RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY. "
