Sumo steak house and sushi bar

Benson is our favorite chef here. The food is great, we never leave hungry. We like the steak and scallop meal as well as the sushi. The kids love the fire show and catching eggs.

We stopped here on New Year's Eve, the staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was nice and the hibachi was great! The steak, in particular, was amazing. The only thing that I wasn't a big fan of was the sushi, the rice was pretty dry. Our reservation was for 8:15, and I think that was probably why.

Last night was our first time in. We had a fabulous time! Tyson put on a great show while preparing our meal. The service was excellent despite how busy the restaurant was. The hibachi was delicious. Even the leftovers were great the day after. We will be back!

Our family has loved this place for years. It is the only hibachi place I know of that you can walk right in and be seated almost immediately. The shows vary a little from chef to chef and so does the food, but overall always a great dinner

We visited Sumo Steak House for the first time this month to celebrate my son's birthday and had an awesome experience! Our chef was entertaining and fun and the food was amazing. We did spend over $100 for three people but we also ordered sushi. Definitely worth checking out for the delicious food and awesome experience alone!

Our party had Lester tonight and he was the best hibachi cook I’ve had in awhile. He’s so funny, entertaining, and his cooking was exceptional. This was the best service and food I’ve had at Sumo. I’ll be coming back again and I’ll definitely ask for him!

Not what we expected, but better than expected!! Our chef was amazing, entertaining, and great cook. Ask for the Busboy.

Our chef was very warm & friendly, gave a great performance all while making phenomenal food. I ordered lobster tail with my hibachi and honestly expected to be disappointed with over cooked tail but so amazingly surprised with amazing cooking technique and recieved perfect lobster. Will definitely be back.

I love the deep fried sushi rolls from Sumo and the spicy cowboy roll. They currently have an offer where you can 50% off the spicy cowboy roll of you buy one. Also got the miso soup & salad - I don’t know what kind of dressing they put on their salad but it taste refreshing! Also got egg fried rice, all of this food is very filling & enough for 2. Patrick was our server & he made our liquid marijuana cocktail perfectly- Thank you!

We went on a Friday night and there was plenty of seating, we sat at the bar. Next time I’d like to sit at the teppanyaki grill!

Doesn't look great from outside but nice inside.. pkd up order to go. Really good shrimp fried rice 🦐 and California roll and a premium roll. Cowboy i think but all was great! Want to have the hibachi sometime.

This place was great! Hubby and I went there for the AYCE menu. Being from Vegas, we didnt realize the AYCE rolls only applied to certain ones. Waiter was super helpful in explaining everything and we decided it would be better to order by the roll. We ended up going in at 9pm and even though they closed at 10pm we didnt feel rushed or anything. The staff was great, food was delicious and service was amazing! We will definitely be going back soon!

Crazy busy when we came in so they had to get the busboy Juan Carlos to cook for us. It was only his second day at the job and he doesn't seem to like it but he managed to cook our meal.

Most excellent food and Kevin was very entertaining and a great chef. It was an amazing birthday experience for my man and our family💜

The place is a little dated, but the food was fresh and tasted excellent. My party had shrimp, calamari, and chicken, and all tasted amazing. Our chef was really entertaining, and I could also hear the laughs coming from other tables during their show as well. The wait staff was ever present, and drink refills were always close at hand. We'll definitely be headed back there. The top-notch waitstaff, chefs, and reasonable prices made up for the outdated decor. I also had some sushi and am an avid sushi eater. Their sasshi was fresh as was another roll we had. I recommend it all.

The food was soooo good. Rodger, the cook, was hilarious. It felt like we were at a comedy show. Our 14 year old birthday girl had a blast

This is probably the best habachi spot in edmond. The staff is always friendly, and the dinner and a show is always entertaining. I have not been disappointed when coming here.

I highly recommend coming here if you want a great hibachi experience. Our chef was amazing and made the entire time we were there enjoyable. The food was excellent and the service was incredible. When we went it wasn't too busy but it can be so plan ahead but it's well worth the wait

We had the hibachi experience, and our chef was spot on with the food and entertainment.
The server was always there when needed.
Overall, my husband enjoyed his birthday, and my grandchildren and daughter had a great time.
Can't say it enough, the food was GREAT!
