Cafe Icon Sushi & Grill

Tried Cafe Icon for the first time on NYE. Without a doubt, some of the best sushi I have ever had in OKC area. Pricey but oh so worth it! Our server was Jennie who is normally one of the sushi chefs so she explained the rolls in detail and made recommendations. We enjoyed everything we had and it was so fresh! Definitely recommend and we'll be back.

Excellent quality sushi and hibachi. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was a perfect complement to the meat and the veggies. Fish is very fresh, flown in from Japan on ice! The service was impeccable, and our waiter was very helpful. I will definitely return!

The food is amazing! We’ve been here 3 times and it has been a good experience and delicious food every time. Highly recommend the beauty and the beast & some peach tea!

Amazing fresh food, the sashimi was great, and the ribeye hibachi was perfectly cooked. Jenny our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and did a wonderful job explaining each dish!

If you are looking for a top notch sushi establishment, look no further. Sam the bartender, as well as one of his cohorts, took excellent care of me. I had never been to this restaurant previously, and it was a knockout. If you love variety as well as fresh, high quality fish, these guys nailed it. It is a bit of a splurge, but definitely worth it. Will return.

They have the best sushi in OKC. Seriously, all the rave for Sushi Neko is insane compared to food quality here. Had the Titan Roll (the best). Gold digger was excellent as well. We will find our way back here, no doubt.

This sushi 😍 everything we ordered here was AMAZING. The staff was so caring and friendly. The owner stopped by our table and talked to us. The environment is just unbeatable. You HAVE to try this place. Come support a small business that truly goes above and beyond.

This restaurant consistently hits a home run every single time. They have the best wait staff, cooks and the owner is great. The vibes are awesome. I always walk out feeling relaxed. The food is fantastic. I can’t say enough about this place. Just try it for yourself, you will be glad you did.

Really liked this place. We don't do sushi much overall but I think we know when things are "good". This place nails it all. Friendly waitstaff had solid recommendations and knew the menu. The Menu has something for everyone and staff was patient and willing to answer questions. If you don't want the sushi, you can get a steak or other fare. It all looked great. Presentation was just as important to staff as quality Food came out as was appropriate and the wait wasn't even close to a problem. We'll be back for sure.

Best sushi I’ve had in Oklahoma, hands down. My first visit I tried every fresh selection they had delivered that morning and it did not disappoint. Amazing cocktails as well! Will definitely be returning soon!

as former Washington state residents who lived by the ocean, this is the best sushi we have ever had. this is truly a top-notch restaurant and ran like one. The service is unbelievable. The atmosphere is phenomenal. Highly highly recommend.

Let me start this review with great atmosphere and thank heavens for Colby. (I didn’t know it then but this pleasant young man would save our evening.)
My husband loves sushi and I don’t lol. I’ve been wanting to branch out and hated my decision after already being seated- funny huh 😂… now my energy must have just been loud as I sat there silently grumbling at the choices on the menu. We were guided to also look at their QR code menu for even more options which do include non fish items. Colby took his time to genuinely listen to my concerns about eating raw fish. I took a huge leap of faith last night and went with his professional suggestion.(He’s been working there for two years) I LOVED the Steak Roll and couldn’t believe it. My husband was happy with his choice and impressed with me being satisfied with mine. Patrick the owner was there watching over things and gave us a friendly wave. So overall this was a great place even for someone not coming in with the greatest attitude.

The restaurant says the fish is flown in fresh. I can taste that.

I started with egg rolls and miso soup. The egg rolls were very tasty. The miso was not my favorite.

My main was a dragon roll. Excellent construction. Excellent flavor. This was a wonderful example of sushi.

Best sushi in Edmond, and the head chef/owner Patrick is an awesome dude! Also, always has a great bourbon selection!

It was a bit pricey but with it for an awesome dining experience.

The only place in Oklahoma I will get sushi or seafood from. So delicious. If you’re looking for both quality food and a quality experience, this is your place. Great place for a date. The crab cakes are unbelievable and topped with their sweet sauce. Just go try it!

Yet another wonderful evening to start the New Year off right! Delectable sashimi and assorted "rolls". If you want the freshest, highest quality fish found anywhere - this is THE place to go. Perfection is the name of the game whether it be the food or the service. Hands Down - the best in the metro'.

While visiting family, their raving recommendation sent us to Icon. We were told not to look at the men but to allow the skilled and friendly owner to order for us. Glad we were to follow this advice and enjoy the best sushi dinner I have ever had. We started with crab stuffed mushrooms and nigiri plates with the creamiest, freshest fish. Then started the parade of rolls he selected. So recommended

Cafe Icon is tucked away in a little shopping center and I'd never noticed it before. I work in Edmond and would have never even thought of going there. I'm so glad I was taken for my birthday! We went on the Friday before Christmas, and every person we talked to was pleasant and really passionate about their food (which was a great sign).

The owner came and talked to us several times, suggesting sushi and drink pairings, special fish they didn't have on the menu, and appetizer specials, as well. He was friendly and funny, and obviously really loves his business and is proud of it (as he should be).

Our waitress was outstanding. She was patient, kind, and had a great sense of humor. She dealt with our rowdy party of five with grace, honestly. I never felt our drinks were low or that we were going without anything at all.

Now, onto the food. So good. Impressively good. The quality of fish astounded me. I love sushi, but sushi in Oklahoma tends to be lacking, just due to our distance from water and the difficulty in finding great fish vendors. But, as the owner of Cafe Icon said he did, meeting with several fish vendors and going to markets REALLY pays of. We had tuna, salmon, and crab in our various rolls, and all of them were so good. It was impossible to choose a favorite.

We had sakes and beer and a mule or two at our table, as well, and the drinks were delicious and served very quickly.
