The Sushi Bar

Visiting my daughter in college, she suggested this place, and it did not disappoint. My sushi was so fresh and delicious, The drinks were very good and the customer service was great!

I work at a sushi place in Honolulu, Hawaii, which is expensive to live, eat out, etc. but even our sushi doesn't cost as much. That being said, the food was great, but I thought $8 for ikura was pricey. I got a Bento box, which was $14, and I thought that was the best deal. My 20 y/o daughter was paying so I took this into consideration when ordering. You can see the rolls they ordered, which look very appetizing, and the food did seem fresh. Summer roll, the one with the cucumber, and I think the other plate had 3 rolls, one of which was an OMG roll.

Amazing sushi restaurant with an incredible ambiance, good vibes, and a great staff. John, Jun, and Victor really go above and beyond for their customers and always chat and make the experience pleasant! The sushi rolls are very tasty and filling!

Just tried the Calamari app. So Good! Love the tempura veggies that come with. The sour cream dipping sauce it Awesome!

The servers are polite and helpful with their menu suggestions...The chef’s hand-prepared sushi & entries are as eye pleasing as exquisite! Our dining experience is always pleasurable & enjoyable! We are never disappointed with this restaurant’s ambience ... The chefs behind the bar set the stage,the prepared sushi takes the spotlight as we the guests become their pleasured audience! This place was amazing. By far, the best General Tso's chicken I've ever had, everywhere else, has no spice, and this place definitely made it right. Bento box for lunch is an amazing deal and even my kids finished their entire box's. The only thing I am upset about is that it took me so long to find this place.

Good sushi. A bit expensive, but overall a nice experience. The sushi pictured, which my husband ate, was ordered for the whole table, but was not received well. I’m not a fan of fried sushi because of the warm temperature and gooey texture of cream cheese on the inside. I just happen to prefer my sushi cold. My daughters kids plate with popcorn shrimp and French fries were really good! We may have stolen a few bites. Lol

Service was fantastic. Angel was so kind, friendly, observant of our needs, AND taught us how to fold the napkins in a fancy way.
I love it when servers are so personable and kind that you just automatically want to be their friend. Pair that with strong work ethic and that's great service to me. Way to be, Angel. You're doing great.

Everything was perfect I went here for my 21 birthday and the server was very nice and when I ordered a roll to take home they wrote a little message on there that said happy birthday 10/10 recommend to all

Party of 4 and we got the Hungry Platter. Plenty to eat. Included traditional sushi, tempura, and more. Shared some wine and enjoyed a nice visit over dinner. Waiter was kind but pretty busy. We arrived about 6:15 and the bar was full. Soon after, all the tables were full and the 'to go' parking was busy as well. The food is fresh and tasty. We will go back.

Best sushi in town. Cant wait to go back. The naughty roll and the J roll are the best!

My only complaint is that my server kinda disappeared toward the end of our meal and we were trying to leave. But I think she was seated thrice and just got busy. She was still super nice so no real complaints here.

It's been 3 years since I made this review, and I still remember the sushi here! The fish tasted fresh, and if I still loved over here, this would be my go-to place for sushi!

Stood for an extended time to buy a gift card. Multiple staff looked at me without any urgency to help. I had to approach bar to ask to buy a gift card. Then I was directed back to host stand to continue to wait.

I didn’t even get sushi but the chicken soba noodles were good. Wasn’t sure what to expect from the chicken because it’s not the main feature but flavor and texture was good! Just add sriracha! They’ll give you some.

Absolutely fantastic sushi. Our server Tori was super attentive. The sushi, the Bento box and the Katsu Udon was excellent. The Katsu Udon was better than we have had anywhere in Tokyo or Kyoto Japan. Definitely will be back!
