A Little Knitty

This store is a gem in downtown Auburn. The owner is absolutely delightful and it’s really great to see a lot of locally dyed yarns available here. Amazing selection of notions and other fun things. I make a point to stop in here whenever I get a chance.

My daughter and I were gifted the beginners knitting classes. We had a blast. The instructor was lovely, patient and fun. We look forward to the next class! 🥳💕

Love shopping here for yarn. Great selection of quality yarn. Jen is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She is a one woman operation and has the energy of three people! Need your yarn wound in to a cake? She has you covered. The shop is brightly lit, lots of windows, very clean, and plenty of completed projects to admire. Plan on spending money because all the fabulous things are going to be hard to resist!

Easy to get to and found close parking on a Saturday. The shop is the right size for me, not too big and not too small, with just enough yarn and notions to have you walk around a few times because you missed something the first two times you walked past that table. I was greeted rather quickly and was given help, which was wonderful! I purchased some yarn and new needles and plan to go back when I start my next project!

The owner is always helpful and so very friendly. Large selection at varying price points. This was my all-time favorite store in the PNW Yarn Crawl, and I wish it was closer to me! But well worth the drive!!
They have classes that are amazing!! Both crochet and knit. Also, fun things like putting together your own advent calendars, to keep or give away.

I've shopped here twice.

First, online. It was easy and fast. They also took the time to wind up the 7 skeins that I ordered.

I then visited the store and was a little confused about what yarn to buy, but the two lovely workers helped me and were extremely kind, welcoming, and easy to talk to.

The variety of yarn, tools and accessories is top notch. Would definitely recommend visiting!🤗

Wonderful store! Took the Knitting 101 class and it was just right for a newbie. Jen, the owner, is a great teacher who is fun and patient. I’m no expert on knitting stores but the store seem to have a good variety of supplies.

Absolutely love it! Beautiful yarn store. Owner has great taste of colors and patterms to display. Definitely a place to do more yarn shopping!

Jen is a gem! Called her on my lunch break to have her pick some yarn for me because I got the itch to knit but didn’t have time to shop. She grabbed some up and the needles I would need and got me on my way. Other times I’ve gone in I’m stayed and talked with her while she spins my yarn into balls and it’s always refreshing. She is such a sweet, tender hearted human! I love stopping in! I won’t go back to the big box stores. The quality is unmatched here.

Jen's shoppe is just right for everything you need for your projects. She is an ambitious yarn shoppe owner with big plans, awesome class offerings, a nice array of yarns--over half i have yet to find anywhere in our area. Most are very reasonably priced, high quality yarns, yet she also carries a few high end yarns from indie dyers for that extra special project you are dreaming of.

Jen *loves* knitting! She is so fun, friendly and helpful. And i love, love, LOVE that she is always knitting up projects and evaluating which would make good kits! (Not enough stores do this, i feel.)

This is the nicest yarn shop ever. Staff are delightful and the selection is a good mix of basics and fancy.

A Little Knitty has become my favorite yarn and gift store. The owner, Jen, is friendly, helpful, and smart as a whip! She designs her own knitted creations, helps knitters who have questions with patterns or techniques, teaches knitting classes...always with a smile. She picks really fun classes to offer. Check them out! That is how I discovered this shop. Besides taking classes from Jen and other talented teachers she schedules, I love to spend time here chatting with other friendly knitters and fiber artists who also visit often. Many lovely yarns to drool over and finished display items to inspire. And, if you need a handcrafted gift for a special someone and prefer to shop local, this shop is for you.

I’m so happy a friend recommended this yarn shop to me. I started a sock knitting class and had a very enjoyable time! Jen is wonderful, caring and very helpful. The yarn selection is of good quality, affordable and beautiful! This will be my go to yarn shop from now on.

Jen is a magician! I need to pick up more yarn and I showed her a problem I noticed and wanted to schedule a private appointment to fix it and other flubs. She immediately grabbed a tool and worked on the issue which she recognized could go very wrong very fast. I am so happy I found this wonderful shop to take a beginner knitting class in January and continue to find great yarn choices, projects and supplies!

I adore Jen and her charming shop! Her yarn selection is a beautiful and well curated mix of indie dyers and larger brands. With new indie dyers cycling though every few months, there’s always something new and exciting to see!

The owner is really friendly and helpful as well as very knowledgeable. I know they also offer a lot of knitting classes for anybody’s that’s a beginner or wants to learn an advanced skill.

A Little Knitty is a very friendly, customer oriented shop. There is a wide selection of yarn and notions and gift ideas. There are numerous samples that have been made up to show how the patterns make up. I enjoyed my visit. There is abundant parking and easy access.
