What a wonderful find. We drove down from Columbus and the store and owners didn't disappoint. If you want whole foods you can get in bulk this is the stop. The price breaks at different sizes are meaningful and the quality of product is the best I've found in the region.

Being able to buy specialty flour in small quantities or 55lb bags is awesome for the baker and pizza enthusiasts. The bulk spice prices are amazing. Seriously, ask about the by the lb pricing on things like curry and turmeric.

Owners are lovely folks and incredibly helpful. We ended up with three large boxes of nuts, flours, pastas, beans, seeds, buckwheat pancake mixes, and more. All for a price that was incredibly reasonable. Even with the gas to and from it was a great value. Can't wait to go back and see what I missed!

We came from North Carolina to visit family in the area and stopped in here. The Bulk Food Depot is on the "must go" list any time we are up in Albany. I likely can't wait that long, so I predict I will be placing some orders for shipment down south much sooner than our next trip north.

This place is incredible. The selection is almost overwhelming, and includes some of the more obscure ingredients that may be hard to find. However, the proprietors are so kind and know exactly what they're doing. No matter your knowledge level about some of the ingredients on offer, you are in quite capable hands here. The products are first quality and very reasonably priced. This is value you can't shake a stick at; and supporting small, local business is so important.
The sign on the door reminding you to "bring a big grocery bag" is meant to be taken seriously. -Seriously. Go back and get your big grocery bag. You will need it.

Gary and Danielle are amazing! They are so warm and welcoming! Danielle even gave me some great advice on cooking some beans that I am not familiar with! The couple that runs the Bulk Food Depot are one in a million. They are so generous and helpful. Not to mention the prices and selection are amazing! My husband and I drove from Columbus, Ohio and were not disappointed.

Bulk food depot has a wide variety of spices and baking/cooking ingredients ideal for anyone ranging from novice baker to professional chef. The couple that runs the store is very friendly and helpful when you ask questions (the female owner helped me find new spices for chili and grilling while we spoke). You will need to call ahead or place your order online since the store is closed to the public due to covid. Definitely recommend checking it out if you are looking for a non-standard spice or ingredient!

This is definitely one of those local honeyholes! The couple that own and run the shop have always been extremely helpful whenever I have questions and have even suggested new herbs and spices I haven't even heard of which turned out to be life changing! Go check them out, you wont be disappointed!

Great prices on stuff like nuts and parmesan cheese, plus harder to find specialty spices and baking supplies. Super kind people as well!

I have a daughter who is gluten free. This is such a great place to have in town! I can get all the flours I need and xanthan gum without paying an arm and a leg.

NICE folks and a great place to score GOOD stuff!! Local honey and Maple Syrup, organic grains and nuts as well as locally produced foods. Can't go wrong here...

I love this store! If they don't have what you need, they will find it. All of the staff is very helpful even when I ask dumb questions about growing my own sprouts.
