Really cozy and friendly place to read books, make new friends and be in community. The bookstore owners are very welcoming and they've done a beautiful job putting their own touch on what a bookstore means to them. The set up is family style and relaxing.

Nestled in Scottdale. A true caring space for the mind and body. The bookhouse is curated with intentionality. Centering the black woman and from there, others. So many great book selections and gems. Them team is knowledgeable and incorporates other community care givers. Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. Cute space to possibly host events too.

BOOK LOVERS, THIS IS YOUR PLACE! I visited today to check out the event they had going on in the backyard and buy some books. The vendors were great, and the shop itself is lovely and adorable and oh so cozy. There's a whole room dedicated to reading as well as cushions and little nooks and crannies filled with literature. This is a fantastic local business and I'm happy to support black small business owners with my purchases here.

Yes Please is an offering to community full of love, care, comfort and curiosity. You can simple purchase a book or sit around reading with tea. You may meet your new best friend there or learn how to make paper. It's possible that you could take a nap or chat with the spaces stewards about the vision they have for the future of the space. I absolutely love this space and the intention taken to curate it. It truly is a care space! I invited a friend of mine to a sound bath event they were having and stayed for books and conversation with lovely women. Will be back to hopefully meet the owner!
