Walgreens

Had meds filled in another state and I left for a trip before I could get it. Made phone call and was answered on 3rd ring and the pharmacist was able to transfer it to this store without any issues.
The original Walgreens store hung up on me 4 times each day for three days in a row. Ended up driving to the store and there were 6 people in line and it took about 30 minutes to get waited on.
Talk about a world of difference between the two

The guy who works the register here, probably in his 40s with brownish hair, is such a cheerful and kind person. Great customer service. Treats customers well and great sense of humor. Walgreen's is lucky they found this guy. He's one of those rare personalities in customer service that is actually memorable and makes people want to come back.

When I walked in the door, I was greeted by Emma (who later told me she is the Beauty Consultant). She asked how she could direct me. I found the items I needed, but then decided I wanted to use the restroom. Emma was guiding an elderly customer on how to choose greeting cards for his grandkids. (It was clear that he needed her patient help.) But then she unlocked the door for me. As I left the restroom and picked up the items I came in for, Emma saw me and came over. She said, "Look at these!" and showed me the brand-new Reese's potato chip candy. "I'm getting them for my whole family. You gotta try them." So she walked me over to the display, encouraged me to do the 2-for-$3 deal, and then walked away. I'm 100% positive she's not on commission, but was just excited about this novel new candy. My family is, too, so they thank Emma for pointing them out. I don't know why the Beauty Consultant is all over the store helping everybody with everything, then running back to her post to greet more customers. But every Walgreens needs some Emmas. She was an excellent hire!

The store was clean, well laid out and organized. We came in for flu vaccines and the process was smooth and the staff was helpful. The bathrooms were locked which I can understand but I could imaging it being frustrating for staff to continually have to go and unlock it. Otherwise everything is good.

The people that work at this store are the most patient and customer satisfaction focused retail employees I have had the pleasure to recently be helped by. Let's just say that I'm a bit of a pain at the checkout line, due to the fact that I bring in a decently sized stack of coupons and will always check my reciept to make sure that I receive all of the balance rewards points offered for my purchases. There have been a couple times I have had to bring items I purchased from the Broadway store over to this store to ensure I recieve my full savings. Being fully aware that I have a tendency to be a bit of a "savings nuisance", it has really been a breath of fresh air to not only be welcomed without an eyeroll, but to also feel like my business really matters to them. Each cashier and assisstant manager that has helped on one of my transactions has gone above and beyond my expectations, by showing a sincre concern that I walk out of their store feeling like a valued customer, rather than some pest trying to save a few bucks. So thank you to the staff at the 17th st. Walgreens for showing me large franchise retail/drug stores are still capable of giving you the same customer support and attention that one would expect to recieve at small local drug store. I will definitely be back, and offer my future apologiea to anyone caught in line behind me :)
