Tradita e Beratit - Hotel & Restaurant

Really cool place in Berat! Food is excellent with a variety of Albanian dishes and the rooms are clean. The host is very nice and knows a lot about local history and culture. We had a lovely stay here for a night.

Hotel was really lovely, very unique atmosphere! Breakfast was good! Location is really lovely in the old town. A bit of a walk from the parking lot and it's not easy to drag the suitcase on the cobblestone road. Some stairs and up the hill to get to the hotel but totally worth it.

Food at the restaurant was also excellent! We loved the menu for two people with a selection of traditional Albanian food. Everything was so tasty and gave a good overview of local traditions.

Was easy to find. The restaurant itself was an easy 5/5. The toilet was clean. The staff were super kind and helpful! The food was DELICIOUS they don’t joke around when they tell you it’s good! The wine was sooooo good! It smelled like cherries and tasted even better. Now if you have an allergy of cats, this is quite the tricky place for you. The cats WILL try to steal your food but they’re friendly and dont scratch you or bite (aslong as your friendly) the waiting time for the food was fast ! Would recommend!

Amazing experience. The hotel is very authentic Albanian and if you want to have a real Albanian memory you should sleep in this hotel and try the amazing food served by the son of the family that owns the place. Great service, great food, great experience over all.

Starting from the initial contact, to the service, food and the warm welcome and treatment, Tradita e Beratit is the embodiment of the Albanian Hospitality. It was a pleasure staying there and I’ll be looking forward to going there again. I’ve already recommended this place to my friends and family so of course I would recommend it to everyone else. 10/10

The best Guesthouse you can find in Berat. Delicious food and amazing staff. We had the chance to do The house tour done by Antonel, the owner and a history lover who puts all his passion on his house.

We stumbled upon the restaurant and we decided to eat. We made an online payment of 30 EUR (which is a blessing in albania).
The food and ice cream was good. It was little overpriced compared to the nearby restaurants but worth the experience.

Very accommodating to our late arrival and early set off. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing too. Great place to stay if you’re looking to visit Berat.

This quaint hotel is a real gem! We had the pleasure to meet with the owner Antonel who shared his vision for this family project. His passion transcends in every detail of this beautiful hotel - from the exceptional service to the breathtaking views. I had dinner with my family and had an excellent experience, the only thing that could be improved is the delay in service, we must be patient.
Useful advice: the restaurant doesn't take reservations, go early and sign up on the list, order a drink while you wait downstairs; the view from the tables outside is worth the long wait. Take your time, enjoy the view, the atmosphere and the excellent typical food. Don't forget that it's a restaurant located in a historic area and that this brings limitations, the service can be slower and the choice of wines is limited.

Great experience. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The service was excellent and the owner had three very cute cats in the yard.

The place had a magnificent view of the Gorica Bridge. We enjoyed the traditional food of the restaurant (very delicious) and the staff that worked there were very friendly and very helpful.

Fantastic place to eat in Berat with a beautiful view from the terrace. You'll be served a tasting menu with various local dishes on it that are all handmade (there's no other menu to order from). Your waiter will give you a bit of background about the food as well as where the produce comes from (all local) and they have their own wine as well. It was one of the best places we ate at in Albania!

The service is excellent, the waiters are extremely kind and the menu is totally delicious. An absolute must go if you visit Berat!
