Walrus Books

Incredible bookstore with many classics I recognized from my university studies. Joaquin seemed a little shy at first, but after a little conversation I found he is a very friendly and helpful compadre who has done a lot of reading, and has an excellent education. It was a relief to spend some time browsing through the cool (with great AC) shelves out of the heat of the street while I was waiting for laundry. I bought a couple of books, and used the convenient Walrus WiFi to get a ride to my next destination. Best wishes and Salud to Walrus!

Found some ‘hidden’ books and got a couple really cool posters. Worth your time if you’re into unexpected English books and a bargain hunter.

A beautiful used bookstore specializing in English-language books (although you can find some items in other languages, like Swedish and Danish, in the top floor).

Good prices, a great selection of used books from the relatively recent to the absolute classics (including some collectibles!), and the owner's a trustworthy fella ;)

I've bought several books here, including several Iain Banks items which I've not been able to find anywhere else. Every visit is a treat!

I am learning to read Spanish. It's hard. It is so nice to have an English book shop where I can get a book for a relaxing read. And now, they post new arrivals on Facebook. You can reserve the books you want. Love it !

If you are looking for used English books with a wide variety of authors and genres, this is the place to go. What I love most about this place is that they also have a selection of strange editions, like Hardcovers or limited editions of well-known books. A must-visit for any book lover.

The best english books you can get in argentina. pretty good price as well. Quite a cozy little place hidden in san telmo, heavily recommend going a sunday and getting a cup of coffee with your favorite book after.
