Honestly how this place is only 3* is absurd. Its absolutely beautiful and rates 5* across the board for us. The location is in a lovely neighbourhood, very quiet and peaceful. We had a superior room in the old house and it was enormous with a bathroom I want to remodel my own into. The staff were impeccable throughout and so helpful - from making us a late night snack when we arrived to booking excellent wine tours. The food in the restaurant is delicious and we highly recommend the cookery class. I wish we had more nights booked and will definitely return one day. Might even be my favourite hotel I've ever stayed in.

Great place to stay in the wine area of Mendoza. Gorgeous estate with vines, foliage, and beautiful old buildings. The dinner event was the best we experienced of many wile in Argentina.

Stunning estate. We loved it. Do the Asado dinner! Wines were wonderful. A complimentary glass of wine and small tapas was provided every evening.

Fantastic experience. Very attentive staff, spectacular rooms and lovely small vineyard site with swimming pool. The winery/small restaurant was excellent and the cooking class we did there was fantastic fun and incredible food. We very much appreciated the complimentary wine and appetiser each evening. We would return in a heart beat.

First off, my sincerest apologies to Christina because this review is so late. My wife and I attended Christina's cooking class in October of 2022.

The whole night was absolutely perfect!! When we arrived, the hotel hostess greeted us as if we were old friends and showed us around. We walked the grounds of the hotel and vineyard, which were beautiful, and then we were brought right to Christina's outdoor kitchen. Christina and her entire staff greeted us like old friends, with big hugs, and talked to us like we had known each other for years, from the moment we arrived until the late hour when we left. Our wine glasses were NEVER empty. The amazing wines they produce onsite were poured into our glasses constantly by a couple friendly and beautiful members of Christina's staff. We were treated like we were the most important people in the world, and with the most genuine attitudes imaginable.

Christina got to know us and told us about herself while she did some prep work and explained to us what she was doing. She made it clear that we were going to learn how to make traditional Argentine empanadas through hands-on experience. And it was such a great experience that we loved. She taught us how to properly select the different meats, trim them, prepare the vegetables, and chop quickly like a professional chef (without cutting our fingers off). We began cooking all the different fillers for the empanadas. Then we prepared the dough from scratch with her, learned how thick to roll it and why, and how to cut out the perfect sized circles. We filled MANY empanadas and learned the proper way to pinch them closed so they don’t open during cooking.

While the empanadas were cooking in the parrilla, we moved on to making the chimichurri sauce from scratch and selecting the cuts of steak. We cooked them in the parrilla and also roasted vegetables and baked potatoes in there. We snacked on many of our delicious empanadas with Christina and her staff while the steaks cooked. The steaks by the way, were very thick and prime cuts of Argentine beef. They were very lean and Christina’s delicious but minimal seasoning made them melt in our mouths. We had a delicious dessert after dinner, with yes, more excellent Malbec.

Our experience that night with Christina and her staff felt like a family gathering that you look forward to doing every weekend with the closest members of your family. We were truly sad to leave at the end of the evening. Christina gave us commemorative aprons with cute little birds on them, that we actually wore all night and got very dirty. I didn’t realize how much of the work we were going to do but it was so much fun!! She did tell us that cooking class attendees can opt out of most of the cooking, but we wanted to learn everything, so she brought us behind her cooking station and taught us like a pro.

Our steaks were so big and there was so much food, so Christina’s staff packaged up everything for us to take home to our AirBnB. NOTHING went to waste!! We finished the steaks and fixin’s the next night with empanadas and we ate empanadas for the next several days.

If you visit Mendoza YOU MUST attend Christina’s Cooking Class. If you don’t attend Christina’s Cooking Class, then you have truly missed one of the greatest Argentine experiences in the whole country. Thank you SO MUCH, Christina!!!

This hotel is maybe my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. The grounds, vineyards, flowers, everything were so beautiful, we felt like we were in an oasis staying here. It also made the hotel feel extremely secluded and private even though it is just a short walk to town. I cannot put into words how beautiful and peaceful the Finca was. Also, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Also, the food was incredible. My husband and I did the cooking class our first night and it was one of the best meals of our entire trip to Argentina. Then the other nights we went to the restaurant for a free glass of wine from the Finca and bruschetta (they do this for all guests every night starting at 6pm), and ended up loving that so much we stayed the entire night for dinner 2 nights. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, I am already dying to come back and visit again. I will be telling all my friends to stay here when they visit Mendoza. Some of our favorite moments of our entire trip were our peaceful, quiet mornings just sitting outside and reading our books before our day started. Then returning to the hotel after wine adventures and just relaxing by the pool. 20/10 would recommend! Great location also to Chacras de Coria, with a few restaurants and markets. The hotel has bikes you can use for free to ride into town (about a 4 min ride).

Absolutely amazing. This place is incredible. Not only is the Finca itself gorgeous with beautiful rooms and grounds, but the service and attention to detail take it to another level, worthy of all the superlatives! Luciano was wonderfully helpful with tips and advice before we even arrived, enabling us to really make the most of our short stay. Once at the Finca, we were pleasantly surprised by the touches in the rooms; insect repellent spray along with the usual toiletries, plenty of chilled bottles of water and a ‘proper’ hairdryer! Every evening guests are welcome to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and tasty tapas dish overlooking the vineyards which was just perfect. Can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful place. Amazing breakfast. Highly recommend the assado where we had delicius BBQ food and nice chats with other guests. Such a nice and relaxing little spotwhere you can totally relax and unwind by the pool enclosed by wines and trees listening to the birds. Only recommendation... Don't be so pushy for guests to book tours / book into restaurants.

A beautiful finca with attentive and friendly staff. The hotel grounds include the vineyard, a lovely pool to cool off on very hot days, and an airy Bodega where the first glass of wine is on the house. Standing among the vines and looking up at the stars at night is a remarkable sight and on a clear day you can see the Andes peaking through the trees.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Finca Adalgisa! The hotel is boutique which gives such a personal touch, the service was wonderful. We really enjoyed the complementary glass of Finca Adalgisa wine and tapas offered in the evening. Thoroughly recommend having the asado, by far the best we have tasted in Argentina

We came for a cooking class with Christina and it was the highlight of our trip to Mendoza. She was so knowledgeable about the food and wine plus so fun to hang out with! It's more of a cooking "demonstration" than a class where you actually make the food but that was fine by us. We made empanadas and rib-eye and both were absolutely divine. Plus you get to drink as much of their extremely rare wine as you can muster.

Beautiful, secluded vineyard/hotel walking distance from downtown. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious and beautiful. It isn't cheap but it's worth it for the luxury treatment.
