Restaurant Grainer´s Dorfstadl

We had a ski vacation here with friends and he organised his birthday dinner here. There were 12 of us. But the staff played it perfectly so we don't miss anything. Menu is awesome, a variety of cocktails, biers and wine, food is exceptional, meat quality is great and presentation is also commendable. Everything was perfect. Can get a little pricey if you are not careful, but quality is there. We will definitely come back to it.

Food is very very good here. Also staff is friendly and atmosphere is amazing. Been there 2 times and everything is great. I also recommend trying their deserts.

Amazing place! Impeccable service and absolutely fantastic taste! My deer was Michelin star. Chocolate and chili liqueur is also worth trying.Take cash with you-they don’t accept cards.

Amazing place! We came here for the second time , this time with our 11month’s old son and again enjoyed our time there! The food is great and the staff is very friendly and thoughtful. If you want to go the a place where you feel very welcome and want to enjoy delicious food, this is the place to be!

This a restaurant in a mountain resort. A good one. What makes it stand out is an outstanding service. Food is excellent and within your mountain resort price range. We had good carrot soup and lamb chops. The hot stone is a gimmick, but it's not too distracting. Again i have to commend the very fine service.

Best meal out all week. We turned up on a Friday night without a reservation and they were very happy to accommodate us. The food was absolutely exceptional, and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend this place if you want a traditional meal in a cosy environment.

We had the cheese fondue (you need to book this in advance!) and a venison steak as a main course and a deer carpaccio as a starter. All were equally amazing! The staff was great too; very friendly and they recommended a lovely wine as well. Definitely recommend going here!

Very good restaurant, with tasty food and friendly staff. The chicken breast grilled on a stone is very good as is the G.O.A.T salad. Plenty of parking places in front of the restaurant. Make sure that you make a reservation in advance.

We went here by chance and it was a wonderful surprise, great in all aspects. The place looks very rustic and traditional with many nice details surrounding you. They were extremely nice to us but the best was the food. Everything we had was amazing, slad, soup or even the spread on bread as a starter. But the steak on hot stone is the real experience as it stays very hot and grills the meat all the time you eat it. I had the veal steak and the taste was perfect. Must visit if you stay in Kaprun and care about food at least a little.

A great authentic Austrian restaurant with nice interior, delicious food and reasonable prices. Do try local steaks, all of them are great and served on a hot stone which just looks awesome!

The best restaurant in Kaprun. I always try to eat at least once when I am in Kaprun. You can't go wrong with any of the meat dishes. Just make sure to reserve a table in advance.
