Gasthof Post Mittersill

We had a lovely family skiing holiday and were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful traditional guesthouse in the heart of Mittersill a short distance from Kitzski area.
The guesthouse is family run and is a home from home. The three course evening meal was delicious with a choice of three different main meals including a vegetarian option.
We would thoroughly recommend this place and look forward to returning.

We had dinner here on a vacation from Canada with family from the area and it was superb! The food and hospitality is amazing. The history and architecture is something else! Very friendly! I can’t rate the rooms.

We came here for dinner and had a very nice experience. The service was very friendly and they told us all about the history of the building. The food was nice. We asked for garlic sauce, the chef didn't have it but was friendly enough to whip it up freshly 👍🏻

We were leaving Austria from our skiing trip and wanted one more Austrian meal. We weren't disappointed. Big portions and delicious food and our trip ended on a very positive note. Our server was very kind.

We had some dessert at this restaurant. The waitress was very kind and the food was server out quickly.

Im currently living in mittersill, so I’ve tried most of the restaurants in town. This one definitely my favourite! Great food, nice staff! Going there every week

They offered the best beefsteak snd Leberknödelsuppe I've ever eaten so far. The beer is very good as well. And the staff is super friendly. I would love to be back here again.

Im rustikalen Lokal war leider die schon Küche zu. Tranken dann Kaffee und dazu einen hausgemachten Apfelstrudel. Der war sehr sehr gut.
Der Koch als Wirt und der Service mit holländischen Wurzeln sehr freundlich u zuvorkommend.
Werden wiederkommen.

Wir waren in unserem Urlaub in vier verschiedenen Restaurants und waren nur hier ein weiteres Mal essen, weil wir so zufrieden waren.
Essen richtig lecker und Service sehr familiär und freundlich. Hier lohnt es sich hinzukommen!

In unserem Skiurlaub waren wir mit 18 Personen auf Voranmeldung in der urigen Schett Stube zum Abendessen. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr gut. Das Essen hat geschmeckt und die Bedienung war freundlich und flott. Der Chef steht selbst in der Küche und kam hinterher zu einem Plausch an unseren Tisch. Wir hatten einen gemütlichen Abend. Vielen Dank!
PS: mein Hinweis wäre, die Homepage mit Öffnungszeiten und Aktionen topaktuell zu halten. Viele Urlauber (wie wir) informieren sich heutzutage vorab online, und wenn da steht Dienstag und Mittwoch Ruhetag wissen die nicht, daß in der Hochsaison trotzdem offen ist und es Aschermittwoch sogar einen Fischabend gibt...
