Amazing place in the middle of beautiful mountains. Staff was very helpful. Awesome spa and wellness. We really enjoyed our little vacation. Thanks for that. I hope to visit again but in winter season. Wonderful hotel with fabulous kitchen. Absolutelly recommend!

It’s the best hotel in that area i guess. 🥰✨Everything was great : location close to lifts to the ski slopes; rooms clean, big, comfortable bed; spa in the hotel is very nice too, you can try several types of saunas, relax in the lounge by the fireplace or swim in the incredible pool with a view of the mountains!

I also want to note the delicious food: always breakfast. were varied and tasty, a large selection of food. as for dinner, we also took dinner from the hotel, which was recommended to us at the reception, and this is the best solution, because the menu was also different every day and everything was delicious, and we could take as much and as much salad, snacks and soup as we wanted! 👍🏼

why did I give 4 stars for the service? because it was not as perfect as we would like, but not critical: 2 times they forgot to put towels in the room after cleaning, it's also bad that everything closes there at 10:00 p.m. and when we wanted to sit in the hall to play board games or chat, they told us to go to our bar on the street because we close everything here and turn off the lights. it is strange to me that in the hotel we are not allowed to sit in the lobby as much as we want. usually the lobby is open 24/7 in hotels , and at the end of our vacation at the reception, they mixed up our bill and wanted to withdraw money for the stay twice, although we paid earlier on booking.

So in general it’s the best hotel for its price and I would definitely recommend it. 👍🏼

Had an amazing experience! Beginning of December still quiet and perfect for a couple trip. Service was super friendly and always helpful. Amenities were great and in general the focus on detail makes the experience even more special. Definitely worth the money and time. Thank you!

My only disappointment was they only serve small beers!!!

Fabulous hotel in a great location. It's about 100m to the main Planai bubble and there is a deal with the local Tritscher Ski School and Rental place right next to the lifts so perfect for very nearly ski in/ski out and you can leave your skis and boots there so hardly any carrying at all. They also have a nifty card system so you get the right boots & skis rather that leaving us customers to remember and pick up "nearly like ours"... Nice idea.

Rooms were super funky with the three bathroom items all separate and all very modern, super clean and still retaining that classic Austrian heritage.

The Spa - lovely. The infinity pool - amazing! The relaxation area was just that, well put together and a great place to read and gently rest the eyelids.

Breakfast was nice - loved the fizzy water on tap, even though didn't have any of the actual champagne...

Great place to stay in the tree lined resort of Schladming.

Everything is perfect but there is no Air conditioning at rooms

At first, it was difficult to find the parking place, because not the name of the Hotel was written in the parking area, but we got the information from reception we parked in the right place.
The staff was very helpful, they immediately prepared the sommer card and handed over the magnetic card.
Our room was on the second floor, which we approached on foot. A small greeting card with our name was waiting for us in the room. In the entire room was cleanliness and sophisticated clean design everywhere. They paid attention to every little detail in the design.
There were space for coats, shoes, and clothes in the closet. There was also a small refrigerator here. To the left behind the door was the bathroom with a large shower and toilet.
The sink was separated from the bedroom, in front of the bathroom. There were also towels, hand soap, tissue, a large mirror with LED lighting, a trash can and a radiator for drying towels. Full equipment.
In the bedroom there is a giant-sized bed, which was very comfortable, with LED lighting under the bed and at the headboard. We slept well in bed. The windows and curtains were large and let in a lot of light and the view of the mountains was beautiful.

At breakfast, there was a huge selection of everything, fresh spicy cheeses, fruits, salami, food specialties, bacon, fish, eggs, fresh different types of bread, orange juice, wine. Our table was reserved for us at breakfast with our name. While we were having breakfast, we could read their offer for daytime activities depending on the weather, or we could also see the dinner offer. Of course all offer was refreshed every day.
The hotel also has a wellness department, unfortunately we didn't try it now, but we will next time.
All parts of the hotel were simply wonderfully beautiful and sophisticated, we are completely satisfied with the breakfast and everything.
If we are in the area, we will visit the hotel again.

The hotel is right in the center of Schladming. Personnel very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Wellness area pleasant after a day of hiking. The food is OUTSTANDING! Definitely plan to eat in hotel restaurant "Johann".

Amazing hotel. We were on our way from The Netherlands to Hungary and decided to make an overnight stop in the Austrian mountains. Just went and chose a four star hotel that appealed. We got a newly renovated room with new bathroom. Good price quality ratio. 60 euros per person including breakfast with a view on the alps. Breakfast was fine. Contemplating if we'd go there in winter...

We have been coming to this hotel for 19 years. In 2017 it is better than it has ever been. Great staff, fantastic food and traditional Austrian feel with modern decor.

Perfect services, delicious food, nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms, on the main street, near to the slopes. I am looking forward to my next stay at Johann Posthotel.

Staff help for couldn't do more to help you took a real pride in their work and the place is spotless. My personal recommendation would be to get a room at the back of the hotel not the front as it can be noisy if the apres ski is partying.

Nice hotel located in the city center. Delicious food and superb service. A bit high prices, it is difficult to get a family room. Apart from the hotel there is not much to see around. You must have a car to move from one place to the other.

We had an awesome three four days there. Excellent meal and breakfast and the spa area was very nice.
If ever in Schladming again, this will be my first choice.
