Friendly staff, and an authentic and genuine place. Their greatest strength without a doubt is the quality and frenshness of their dishes. I had the best goulash in my life. I also enjoyed an excellent cheese spatzle (a kind of mac cheese but much much tastier). The dishes served here are a treasure trove in the valley for a very affordable price.

We stayed here thanks to a trip booked with Sunweb. Due to the lack of reviews we weren’t too sure what to expect. So here goes my full honest feedback.

Gasthof Tipotsch made our skiing trip that extra special, the service and the staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Same even goes for the other guests, what an incredible atmosphere in the evenings.
Very authentic, no other British were there, which we actually really liked!

The food was great, and there was definitely plenty of it (even for us vegetarians). They truly couldn’t do enough to satisfy our diets.
No need to eat lunch as we had big breakfasts and HUGE dinners.
The first course is always a soup, then a buffet salad (which was incredibly flavoursome), choice of a main and then a dessert.
The evening waiter was great fun, very entertaining and had a lovely relationship with most of the guests.

Yes the rooms are basic, and the bathroom is in the hallway with shared showers and toilets (although sinks are in the rooms). However, this didn’t bother us at all, there was never more than a 10 minute wait. The showers were very hot and powerful, which we were grateful for.

Perfectly located for the public transport (which is free with the ski pass), it’s 30 seconds from the train station (which stops in each town) and the bus (which takes you to the closest ski lifts), and over the road there’s the bus that takes you to most places.

The only less positive was that the beds were quite squeaky although the mattresses were comfortable. Therefore, we chose to put the mattresses on the floor during our stay and put our cases on the bed. This worked out really nicely for us!

Thank you for such a great stay, I have no doubt in my mind that we will be back now that we’ve found our favorite skiing destination and guest house! We were so incredibly sad to be leaving such a great welcoming establishment!!

We went to the restaurant. It’s a great, friendly place with lots of good a’la cart food and pizza! The server was kind, genuine and interested in helping us. I recommend this place with kids too.

You can not fault this place its like staying with family. The rooms are clean. The food is superb. And the staff omg the staff are so friendly and supportive they couldn't do enough for you. If you want to stay in mayrhofen stay here. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here I have travelled alot of Europe over the years and never met a place so friendly 😊 all the best

I've visited this restaurant several times as I work in the area. Me and around 15 coworkers booked in for dinner on Christmas day and had a wonderful time. Great food, great value for money, and the hosts are friendly and make you feel valued. I love this place!

Nice location close to several amazing skiing and hiking opportunities. Great, clean rooms, lovely staff and amazing and plentiful food. Only aber dabei is the shared toilets and bathrooms in the second floor, could do with a makeover even though being kept nice and clean. For the price, this Gasthaus is a gem ❤

Such a lovely place to stay. The staff is incredible friendly, the pizza amazing and great connection to the different ski areas. Cannot wait to be back. Definitely recommend this place.

Delicious (especially the vegetables in gravy!), filling, average price for what you get, and for a party of like 12 people, we got our food pretty quickly.

Quite warm welcome

Wir waren heute mit 6 Personen hier essen. Alle waren komplett zufrieden mit ihrem Essen. Insgesamt herrscht hier eine Atmosphäre wie in den 80er und 90ern. Mit dieser Zeit verbinde ich schöne Erinnerungen und sehe das daher nicht negativ. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die junge Dame im Service war sehr nett.

In zehn Tagen Urlaub dreimal dort gegessen. Immer sehr gut. Servicekraft sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt. Wären beinahe nicht rein gegangen weil es von außen nicht einladend aussieht. Innen ist es gemütlich.

Wir sind heute das 2. Mal im Restaurant. Und auch dieses al war es so lecker das ich jetzt eine Bewertung abgeben muss. Den Service möchte ich besonders hervorheben!!nette junge Mädels die ihre Arbeit wirklich verstehen. Es fehlt einem an nichts. Ebenfalls ist das Essen der absolute Hammer. Das erste Mal hatte ich semmelknödel mit Pfifferlinggulasch. Es war der absolute Wahnsinn 😍 heute hatten wir das cordon bleau mit Spätzle und pilzrahmsauce, was uns nochmal richtig umgehauen hat👌 über das hotel können wir nichts sagen aber das Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert und ich vergebe 11 von 10 Punken👍👍👍

Sehr gutes essen dort. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und das essen kommt schnell. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung nur die duschen die auf dem Zimmer sind sollten mal renoviert werden und die Toiletten im gang auch. Preis Leistung ist topp
