Very nice place and excellent pizzas, very good local beer. Usually you would need to make reservation.

The food was exceptionally delicious! We had the antipasti plate for 2 persons as an appetizer which was enough to feed 4 people and offered a really broad and good selection. Most of us ordered Pizza which tasted very good too. I had the grilled vegetables with goat cheese and a mixed salad as a side dish. It was absolutely delightful! All appetizers came with bread which itself was already really tasted and together with the oil selection at the table... They only offer a small selection of drinks but when I asked for a hot drink, they offered me to get me something from downstairs which was one of the best tea I have ever had. The only small thing to critize is that the staff wasn't extremly friendly and it was sometimes a little bit difficult to get a hold of them. If you would like to pay separately, you should tell them before, it is a little bit difficult for them... but despite that I can definitely recommend coming here. The prices aren't cheap but definitely reflect the value of the dishes.

The pizza was really great, the service not so much. Once you are in it’s ok, but they don’t really give an effort to provide you with a table.

One of the best places in Matrei, eat and drink quality food and beverages, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

We waren een half uur te vroeg maar warme chocolademelk besteld en 15 minuten gewacht. We werden vervolgens netjes naar onze tafel boven gebracht. Er hing geen Italiaans sfeertje maar was wel netjes ingericht met een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Daarom 4 sterren.
Zeer beleefde bediening en besloten voor een antipasta als voorgerecht te gaan en allemaal een pizza als hoofdgerecht. Het voorgerecht was een heerlijke goed gevulde plank met hammetjes, kaasjes en van alles. Bediening kwam netjes vragen om even te wachten met de pizza ivm de hoeveelheid vh voorgerecht dus er werd meegedacht. Daarna de pizza en deze waren heerlijk. Veel kaas en en precies de juiste hoeveelheid beleg. Alle 3 heerlijk!!!
De zoon had na de pizza nog wat ruimte en besloot te gaan voor de crème brule. Was wederom een traktatie voor de mond volgens onze zoon.
Al met al heerlijk en gezellig gegeten en wat ons betreft een aanrader voor iedere liefhebber van Italiaanse pizza's.

Leuk restaurant, heerlijke pizza’s en ruim opgezet.

Wir waren nur noch 5Min vom Restaurant entfernt, da war auf einmal die Straße dicht.
So wären wir nach Küchenschluss (mittags) angekommen.

Anruf im Restaurant — in dem Moment löste sich der Stau und wir konnten in ein paar Minuten da sein — sehr lieb und freundlich, wir können gern noch vorbeikommen.

Ein paar Minuten später in dem super schönen Ambiente angekommen, sofort sehr freundlich und offen begrüßt und bedient worden.

Der Kuckuck ist etwas zwischen zwei Häusern eingerückt, was es noch gemütlicher macht, vor allem wenn man draußen sitzt.

Getränke und Pizza kamen schnell, Pizzateig wahnsinnig lecker, knusprig und fluffig.
Belag frisch und lecker.

Schade, dass wir nur einmal im Jahr in der Nähe sind — aber wir kommen wieder!
