MONDI Bellevue Alm Gastein

If you are afraid of heights and sketchy chair lifts, I'd pass or you gotta walk up a mile up the mountain lol (like me😅🥹).
But other than that, it was an amazing experience. Loved it. Room was clean and quiet, food was delicious and fresh, & the staff was helpful. I had a Serbian man help me from the front desk. He helped me book a taxi. Hvala opet za tvoj pomoć. Zaboravila sam tvoj ime. Bila sam tu u kraju December🙂

Incredible restaurant and hotel

Looking for somewhere to eat in Badgastein feeling a little uninspired. Trip advisor recommended Bellevue. So we all hopped in the car for the 5 min assent to the restaurant. There were points on the route where we thought we were terribly lost.

But wow! What a place. Built in something like 1650, this really is quintessential Austria!

Service brilliant, helpful friendly staff. Food was great. View were amazing. Super happy.

What a lovely location. The interior is very nice and we really enjoyed the inner fireplace.

Absolutely brilliant. A magnificent hut in the mountains, accessed by a single chair lift that has world cup winning history itself.

The team were great and the food was very filling. Post dinner you can adjourn to the seats around the fire and relax, take in the fabulously curated from the '60s promo reel and enjoy the amazing surroundings. 100% worth a visit and reasonably priced so you literally can't go wrong. Sledge town, walk down or get the left - all ideal...

One of the best experiences ever! The ski lift was amazing, the sled on the way down even more fun!! Needless to say, the food in the restaraunt was top tier (we ate the burger, onion soup and truffle linguini with beef slices - everything was extremely tasty). It might be a little tricky to find a place to park a car, but if you're staying for the night, I don't think there would be such a problem.

Visited just before it closed. Had the meat fondue and a bottle of Riesling which was excellent. Live music and open fire was amazing. We walked up the hill, worth it!

Brilliant truly Austrian restaurant, bar & lounge complete with the traditional nails game (hammerschlagen) and amazing home cooked food. Ski in ski out from B14 and they even have toboggan when there’s enough slow. Brilliant staff, couldn’t be more helpful especially for a group of 21! Vielen dank! 🍻 🔨 🇦🇹 🎿 🥘

Beautiful restaurant with a very nice view!

Amazing food experience..highly recommended. Had both the cheese and meat fondue as well as the amazing Schnitzel and loved everything of it. The place is very cozy featuring a nice fire place in the middle of it. All in all a great location paired with amazing food.

By far the best restaurant experience in the Gastein region. You need to take a chairlift to the restaurant, which is a beautiful hut in the mountain with amazing views. The staff is super friendly and the typical alpine food is delicious. Be sure to book in advance because they are usually full, or you can go just for drinks by the fireplace, which is also a very nice.

Fabulous place to stop for a drink and enjoy a meal. Accessible from the base of the mountain on what must be one of the oldest chairlifts operating in Austria.,this includes a taboggan run back down the mountain. Absolutely fantastic fun for a family, particularly with older teenagers who think they can show their parents how it is done.. 😊

Without doubt the best kaisersmarren I've ever had.
The restaurant is just something different, cozy low ceiling, fireplace in the middle and some crazy good food!

Lovely spot to finish the days skiing. Sitting in front of the open fire, very nice indeed! And just a couple hundred meters of a ski down to Bad Gastein 👍

Loads of great food, live music and a warm atmosphere. Take the single lift up to the restaurant and the sledge down after your meal. Something you just have to try if you are visiting Bad Gasein!

Everything was magical there. The old 600 years old building on the top of the hill, the way you get there, the way you get down from the hill (with sledges). Must have experience!!!

When you go to Bad Gastein, you need to visit this place!
Going to the restaurant by one person skilift (with an amazing view when you return).
The restaurant is beautiful and cozy. All the old details are in there.
You need to book the cheese fondue upfront and it's great. Also the wine selection is amazing.

It's a nice resturant with a cozy atmosphere with a big open fire place in the middle. If you go there and you have dinner you must really should the the tobagon run down it is really fun! The whole experience is a good night.

The oldest skiing cabin with traditional hearty food, lovely service and an impressive view on Bad Gastein.

Portions are rather big, think about sharing ... or you get the takeout for breakfast.
