Landskron Castle

Great location close to Villach with lots of attractions. You may book a session with eagles on your wedding day. This is a real castle, a fantastic background for photos. Stunning views on each side. Every couple gets to cut their cake with a medieval sword. There is a beautiful Chapel located within the castle, great for a romantic ceremony. As a photographer I can recommend this location as one of favourites.

Parking is 2,5 Euros per day and you can see beautiful old castle and lovely Affenberge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The food was delicious at the restaurant and the views were incredible.More than worth it to venture out and go see. The drive just to get to the castle is worth just taking the trip. There ia parking at the very top of the mountain so your only option isn't just at the very bottom. Its worth checking out. If you do decide to park at the bottom. Its quite the journey making it up that steep graded road about 1/2 Km to the top.

Good quality food, but more related to diner than a small lunch. Great coffee (espresso and cappuccino) as well.

Service is good, friendly and quick. Even when it was very busy.

Location of course great. Located at the hill with a splendid view over the valley with Villach city.

Very nice castle. I was never be so close to eagles like this day. View is beautifull.

All in one place for business diner, cafe, ice cream, visit with kids... or can walk around the castle or vist Adler arena or Affenberg.

My family visited the castle and also attended the bird show.

We came here during European Bike Week and were able to ride all the way up, through the restaurant on the top. The views are stunning up here. You pay a small fee to drive up, we paid 2eur for 2of us on one motorbike. The food was delicious. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Great place for families and pet owners too. Very beautiful place.

Exceptional location with a fantastic view, a cool breeze, shaded seating, excellent food, and super friendly staff.
Offer a daily menu and a variety of vegetarian dishes. Fair prices.

Wonderfull view, cold beer and good food.... Really good food 😊 Prices are affordable at least. I would recommend a visit after going to Affenberg.... All except the Villacher "beer"..... That is just a so called beer... Nothing to do with areal beer.

nicely restored castle ruin offering an amazing view over the ossiacher see and villach. don't miss out the popular eagle flight show and enjoy great food at the castle restaurant.

My favorite location for dinner. What a beautiful view and atmosphere! Came here last year for the first time came back this year for my birthday. Super!

Nice view of the surroundings, but do not understand why cars are allowed to go up but bikes not.
