Selina Bad Gastein

Have stayed here twice in the same family room to go skiing. Amazing old huge hotel with a lot of character. The room is spacious with great views of the mountains. The hotel has everything you would need, such as restaurant, cafe, bar, cinema, plus an amazing spa in the basement. Perfect location for going out in the evenings, plus near the ski bus. I am sure I will be returning here again.

Extraordinary hotel with a very special atmosphere. It felt like traveling back in time with the very chique vintage interior.
The hotel staff is young and super friendly. I met other guests from all over the world with whom I will keep in touch for sure. The rooms are also very charming and clean. You shouldn't expect a TV though which wasn't important to us.
All in all an amazing experience. The cherry on top was a very cool party in 'Der Keller', which is literally in the celler of the hotel.
Unfortunately we didn't try the Sauna and massage. Maybe next time.

Loved my stay at Selina it's got hotel features combined with community aspects of a hostel so the best of both worlds. Great co working space and perfectly located to explore the wonderful Bad Gastein. Loved the pool and sauna! And it's great that they have a community kitchen so you can prepare your own food.

First, I love Selina Bad Gastein! The staff members are so sweet. If you need anything, just ask because they are so happy to help.

To be transparent, I was a Resident Yoga Teacher for this Selina for a total of six months. I was blessed with a beautiful room with an amazing view of the mountains!

The hotel & hostel is in one of the most beautifully secluded alpine regions in the world. The waters are so healing as well. Hiking to the lakes for swimming is very worth it!

Afterwards, make sure to go to the Spa for the pool, sauna, and steam room. This Spa is so gorgeous! Plus, it will help with the sore muscles.

Finally, the mushroom foraging in Bad Gastein is where it’s at…!

Lots of charm and character in this beautiful hotel. Nico and the entire staff were great. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfasts and evening barbecues were delicious. My wife and I would like to stay here again if we return to the area.

I arrived as a solo traveller and I left with many new friends, I even extended my trip and I worked for a week from the co-working space which has the most awesome views. The staff was very friendly and a special shout-out to Julka, she introduced me to the Selina community and made me feel at home directly!
I would definitly visit again!

Selina is a beautiful and well designed hotel that perfectly combines new stylish elements with the traditional charme of the building and the town. This place is perfect for relaxing in the indoor pool and the big spa, sporty activities like Yoga, hiking or skiing but also for legendary parties and meeting cool new people!
Also don’t miss out on the amazing waterfall that’s just a 5min walk away from the hotel (you won’t hear it from your room though)!

I went last year and stayed for a month during summer. This place has made a lasting and loving memory and I have been missing the views, the fresh pine sented air, the friendly staf and sound of the waterfall. The location is close to multiple lifts and because of that the half hour ‘from bed to mountain peak time’ is pretty impressive. Selina is a different ‘concept’ than the surrounding hotels. So do take a look on their site to make sure it suits you well.

We stayed for 3 nights and we loved the combination of an old building and the fresh new hotel concept of selina!! The Manager and all of his staff where very friendly, helpful and made us feel like home during our stay!! THANKS AGAIN for everything and hopefully we will see us again!

The Selina is a classic. In the heart of historic Bad Gastein. It has its own unique charms and the team were very helpful throughout. Huge traditional rooms like you'd get no where else. A Thermal Spa resort classic.

Lovely staff, beautiful location. The facilities are fantastic value. You can spend a lot of money and enjoy it or do it on a budget. A great place to relax, stay fit or make friends.

Just come back from a National Holidays break to the hotel Weismayr. This hotel it's staff and owners were the most hospitable people ever. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel itself is stunning and in a stunning setting, food was great and the service was impaecable especially our favourite waiter Franz. Our room was huge with a lovely quirky bathroom and a view to die for. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to see Austria at it's best.

We had an incredible Weekend in Selina Bad Gastein! I knew Selina from my travels in Central America and was very exited about this one. But of course it was like coming home☺ This Selina has its own sauna (actually there are two!) and pool and of course an gorgeous working space. The rooms are very unique and in the family room we had enough space (we were 4 friends). Lovely staff! It was the opening weekend and Still they made a very professional impression.
We went hiking to the stubnerkogel and joined the opening party in the night - perfect weekend!

A very memorable stay, the building is a very interesting mix of old imperial splendour and quirky contemporary touches. All the staff were super friendly and the location is perfect for enjoying Bad Gastein and it’s surroundings.

Incredible place! It is very well located, incredible decor and the atmosphere environmnet was amazing. All hotel staff was also 5*. Definitely a place to go!

I try to name the staff members in the reviews who go above and beyond for a positive experience, but in this case every person I met seemed like they were having a great time and were exceptionally polite and accommodating of our requests.

Opened a couple of weeks ago, so don't worry about all these old reviews, they don't apply for 'selina'
It is a truly magical place and we will definitely come back.

We were greeted by smiley staff that seemed to enjoy what they were doing !
Even though everything is still new and they are still finding their feet, they make you feel welcome and part of the group.
The way the hotel was renovated is just outstanding, very pretty and Hommage has been paid to the old features of the building and beautiful Bad Gastein. It felt a little like in a Wes Anderson movie.

I'm looking forward to my next stay. :)
