Campingbad Ossiacher See

This camp is just absolutely perfect.
Starting with the location on the shore of the Ossiacher Lake with beautiful, well kept beach. There is a train station 5 minutes from the camp, so you can easily get to Villach and many other destinations in the region.
The cleanliness of the whole camp was spotless - grass well cut, not even a single piece of trash anywhere, bathrooms were always tidy.
The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful :-)

It's a bing site with many slots for camper. During our stay in June they had many free slots available. You get many information during the check-in of you want and also recommendations what to see/visit. We took a short hike in the morning the the castle nearby.. Visited Villach (draupuls) and everything for free - as there's the "Erlebniskarte". With that you can use the train for free.. Visit 2h the thermal bath.. 1 or 2 climbing/Boulder sessions.. Etc.
The camping site was clean, showers and bathroom is OK - if you use the one for the beach guests, they're more modern.
There're two sanitary houses, 3,- EUR for the washing machine, a restaurant is also at the site and you can rent bikes and also a electric scooter or a boat. The train station is a kit 10min by foot.
We'll come again!

Plenty of shade for those who do not like to be on the sun for long. The beach is pretty large and is on the same area as the camping. Water is clear and surprisingly warm (it should have been 26 according to kaernten.at but rather felt 28) There is a large playground as well.

Great camping with a spectacular view. Quick access to the lake. Make sure to check out the sauna – it’s very cozy and well made. We spent a nice time there watching how crazy raining it was outside.

Very good camping. Nice beach. Good supply of sport activities. Close to road connection with Italy and Slovenia...

Have been there three times and enjoyed all the options for entertainment there are in the area.
Very nice, we are ready to come back hopefully next year.
