Gelateria La Romana

Gelateria La Romana was absolutely delicious gelato. The service was amazing, I asked if we got any samples and the one employee offered numerous of the fan favorites of the shop. Plenty of seating inside with a second floor as well. We liked it so much, we went back a second day!

We had waffle with ice and a small cake (on the pic), I don't remember the name unfortunately, but everything was delicious. Coffee was also good and what was important for me was they had oat milk.

Such a good ice cream, and their crepe is delicious. However their open hours are limited and specific. It’s not exactly in the city center, and when I was in the area a few times they were closed/ opened later. Another thing is the staff, not always nice, and very slow- causes to a huge line with long waiting times (hour or more). I would still recommend checking it out but not on Sundays, from my experience it’s their busiest day.

I did not get the toast ice cream. But the ice cream is pretty nice. They have plenty of flavours to choose from (so many that it can be confusing looking at the menu! But the employees are very helpful and will guide you through).

There is outdoor seating. The shop is very central.

Quite possibly the best gelato I have ever had and that includes all of the places in Rome, Florence and Milan. The service was fantastic and the portion sizes were plentiful.

Most briliant service from a team!!! I am always order 3 random flavors in gelaterias and watch how order is processed and complete. This gelateria is 10/10!!! They have took this order with enthusiasm I have not seen before! Made me feel so welcome!! I dont know how but I got my favourite flavor as part of selection! Diana somehow read me and what I like from just my smile i guess😁😅 all experience I felt like I am in a capable hands of magicians/proffessionals! Pure joy from visiting Wien for first time!

Here I have had the best vanilla ice cream ever. I know it's a simple flavor, but still. It's so creamy and the lemon accents are just on another level. For me, it's perfect for a hot day!
The only down side to this place is the open hours and since it's so popular, there is always a line. Still, really worth it!

It’s my first hot chocolate in Vienna and the best by far!

Great place to come for a quick afternoon treat. We had the tiramisu semifreddo cake and freshly made crepes with vanilla cream and whipped cream. Didn't try the gelato but looked very popular. We were lucky to be able to grab a table when we arrived as it was quite busy but the crowds did calm down after a bit.

Best gelateria in Vienna, since I met them I dont go for ice cream anywhere. Friendship personal. Generous portions with amazing chocolate inside the cone when it suits you. Every month a new flavor. Is definitely a must.

Came to this place once while visiting Viena and loved it so much that I came back two more times. The ice cream is very, very good. I tried different flavors and they are all fantastic. Service was good. Girls at the counter were attentive and nice to talk to. The place was cute and clean (including the restrooms which is a extra plus). It was very helpful to find a menu in English.

The place is nice & clean, Staff are super friendly and the icecream is creamy and super delicious. They also have sorbet and vegan options.

This ice cream cafe was just across my hotel and since there is always a lineup I decided to try it 20 minutes before the closing and that was the perfect time because they were just a few people before me. The ice cream is so yummy that I want to try all the flavours. I had the pistachio and yogurt and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was also patient and friendly. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

I'm Italian, and for me It reminds me of when I was living in Rome and on the way back from Testaccio I was having Ice Cream at La Romana there. After years, the flavors are still great! I love it

One of the best ice-cream in Vienna! It you like very creamy but still light ice-cream this is the place! They have also amazing cakes and tasty pancakes! I recommend you to try Brioche Siziliana it's really very good.

Rarely delicious ice cream. Maybe because it was rarely hot day? Staff is extremely friendly and dynamic atmosphere in general. Influx of people proves it too.
