Stumbled upon this bakery as we were passing by Melk for a quick visit. Absolutely amazing, smells sooo fresh, and the staff is super friendly!
If you're in Melk, then definitely go to this bakery for a visit as it is hard to find really good small local bakeries.
The chicken burger and chocolate apricot jam cake were superb! Fresh chicken, soft bun, moist cake and a freshly brewed latte to top it off!

Steps away from the Melk Monastery and right on the edge of the old town, this treasured bakery is a local establishment with tasteful modern decor. The berry ice creams is well worth trying with the crackers, and the ice tea is truly to die for on a summer day. Of course, late July and early August is the season for the famous apricots of Melk, so be sure to patiently wait for the freshly made apricot dumplings!

Great café for breakfast. Very long breakfast menu and every single thing is excellent. The staff is very nice.

Everything was just delicious the service was good all the food got to our table so fast . I totally recommend.

Simple cafe but the food was delicious and waitress very friendly. Was nice also to see breakfast options that included coffee and juice without ordering everything separately. Made our breakfast both delicious and reasonably priced.

Loved this pastry! Full of nuts (or poppy), thin dough, really tasty, poetry in the mouth!
(Sorry for not taking the picture when it was the whole shape but no idea I would even take any photo, I was just suprised that it wasn´t thick dough and a little of filling but opposite, realy proper and tasty)

Excellent choice of soups, cakes, hot drinks, exactly what we needed after a long drive. Fast and nice service as well. And if you're looking for breakfast options, this is the place.

Excellent cafe for breakfast or lunch or just a snack. We ate there twice while in Melk it was so good. Good healthy options for breakfast. Busy at breakfast time mostly all locals there.

Very cute cafe just down the stairs from the Melk Abbey. Perfect stop for an espresso and a bite to eat (lots of yummy-looking food on display!).

Tasty cake, good coffee, smiling and very welcoming stuff. And above all they had oat milk for coffee :)
