Gasthaus Hofmann

Lovely place, shame we could only stay one night. The rooms were very nice and clean, the hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast we had was delicious. Would definitely recommend,😁

It is a welcoming, comfortable and clean place, also offering parking and wi-fi.
Terraces and gardens are a bonus that creates an intimate, family atmosphere.
The breakfast was delicious and the owners were more than kind, making us feel great.
It is a great place to stop, being less than 10 minutes from the highway.

This place is exquisite. I do not know where to start.
Maybe I should start by where I stand, below the 60 year old walnut tree that grants the terrace a protective shadow from today's scorching sun, looking at three tomato trees and with a wall of flowers on my left.
On my right was Herr Hofmann with whom I shared a drink and who told me the story of how he planted the tree when he was 14, and how he decided to turn what was a restaurant in today's bed and breakfast when COVID-19 hit, and how he can now enjoy taking care of his garden, his "little paradise" as he called it.
A cool and relaxed discussion, in a cool and relaxed environment.

The rooms do have air conditioning, a great mattress, a fridge and a sink, with a kitchen just outside.
Oh, and they're gigantic (30sqm).

Finally, the breakfast was overall great: Good coffee, omelette, bread and even some rapsberry and redcurrant which I suspect came from the garden :)

If you feel like visiting Melk, you may want to stay in Loosdorf instead :)

Замечательное место! Приятные, вежливые хозяева. Чисто и уютно. Можно с животными, без доплаты! Отлично!

Herr Hofmann ist der geborene Gastgeber. Zimmer war schön eingerichtet. Alles war perfekt gemacht. Es fehlte an nichts.
Hatten Zimmer gegen Strasse. Das war bei offenem Fenster etwas laut. Bei geschlossenem Fenster aber ok.
Werden bei Gelegenheit sehr gerne wieder dort vorbei gehen.

waren über 3 Nächte in diesem ehemaligen Gasthaus bestens untergebracht und verpflegt. Frau Hofmann ließ es uns an nichts fehlen. Besonders zu erwähnen ist ihre selbst hergestellte Marmelade. Einfach köstlich !!! Extrawünsche werden gerne erfüllt.

Wir haben auf unserer Fahrt nach Ungarn jeweils eine Nacht auf der Hin- und Rückfahrt hier übernachtet. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und sauber. Man schläft ruhig und wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen und werden sicherlich wiederkommen! Die Krönung des Ganzen ist aber das Ehepaar als Chef..beide sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich einfach willkommen! Danke nochmal, war wirklich schön bei Euch!

Sehr nette Gastwirtin, wir haben Abends spontan ein Zimmer bekommen.

Zeer modern & hygiënisch Gasthaus, dat ideaal is wanneer je op doorreis bent in Oostenrijk of bijv wanneer je op fietsvakantie bent in de Donauregio. De eigenaresse is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het ontbijt is ruim opgezet en absoluut het geld waard. Je kan helaas niet in het Gasthaus dineren, maar in het dorp zelf of in het prachtig nabijgelegen Melk zijn voldoende eetgelegenheden. Als je van Grüner Veltliner houdt moet je absoluut de wijn die zij aanbied hebben geproefd!
