DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO REVIEWS OLDER THAN A MONTH because the new owner has just took over the hotel!!!!
The owner and the staff were very kind and welcome. They make us feel very comfortable. The food was great. Great taste and big portion on very good price. They gave us welcome drink and Christmas cookies at the end of the dinner. We were given free room upgrade (I've booked twin room and the owner offer us double room because he saw we are couple). We added breakfast to our accommodation and breakfast was great too. View is amazing and it is very quiet.
The restaurant is huge so it's perfect for big group of friends or corporative party. The design of the whole hotel is very authentic for the area.
Highly recommended it for a long holiday if you like hiking, cycling or skiing. Recommend it even for 1 night if you drive transit to Austria through Alps, because the price is very good and location is very easy to find.

Steak was extraordinary! Best steak I had this year.

Very nice and dilicous food. We tried this place along the road to Hallstatt. We ate wiener schnitzel and the pasta (with four diffrent kinds of chesse).
The food was very good!

Rooms are designed in years from late 90s, early 2000 - it is not disadvantage - just norm situation :) Prices of rooms are very very good. Most important that was clean. Hotel is placed in good location. There is parking without any fees. For people who want to come to hotel in hours after 23:00-0:00 I think it is good advice to contact with hotel before that you want to check in such hours :))
I can really advice this place. At 1st floor is available restaurant. I can advice pizza there. It is good 😊

We came here in February for a few nights to ski at Dachstein West and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were responsive for questions ahead of our trip, they were very friendly the whole time during it and it was convenient having a good restaurant in the hotel where we ate every night. The rooms are good quality though less modern. The ski locker was a good one, lots of spaces for gear and everything dried well overnight (even after a rain day). Using public transportation from Salzburg and to the ski hills worked out very well. We look forward to staying here again!

We arrived very late, almost at closing time, but stuff was very friendly and offered us a full (and tasty) dinner without any problem. Very kind and appreciated after long biking day. Definitely recommended.
