Great music store for brass and woodwind! The best thing is that the instruments can be tested without being stressed. The employees definitely exceed expectations in terms of expertise and friendlyness!

TL;DR: I own two Schagerl trumpets and both are absolutely top notch and I wouldn't recommend anything over them

as a precursor the quality of the plating and just in general the instruments is great. strangely my favourite part about them are the spit valves / water keys, whatever you want to call them. they are not mushy at all and just scream high quality and the valves are incredible and smooth. one of a few things I wish I had on them were 1st valve stopper screws because I actually dented my 1st valve slide on my Bb after over extending and it falling out it after having it for only a few days.

Firstly, I own a James Morrison Meister Bb Trumpet with a gold brass bell in silver plate and it is the most versatile trumpet I've ever played. Bright tone that cuts through in Jazz bands and a darker low register with a brilliant high register for an orchestral setting. Intonation is exceptional except the typical notes like C# (requires almost a full extension of the 3rd valve slide) and D (about 1/3 of the slide).

Secondly, I own a Charis C trumpet which feels almost the same to play as my Bb, except it is actually slightly heavier but has a very brilliant bright orchestral sound and is very responsive. the bells throat is just a bit too tight to not ever get caught on a typical K&M stand but that's not too big of a deal in my opinion. The intonation on low C# and D is the same as the Bb but in addition it needs alternate fingerings on the high E and Eb as most C trumpets do. It does tighten up and get a bit squirrely on me a bit quicker than my Bb because it requires more air, but as a side effect of that i can get a much greater dynamic range because it will take more air and as such create more volume before it breaks up and becomes blasty (I actually couldn't get it to the point of blasting).

Ich bin nicht aus der Nähe und suchte ein Cornet für mich. Nach meiner Anfrage wie denn ein Hans Gansch Cornet sei, habe ich ausführlich eine Antwort erhalten. Auf die Anfrage, ob ich eines ausprobieren könnte, wurde mir ein fabrikneues Cornet zugesandt, welches ich bei Nichtgefallen hätte zurück senden können. Meinem Sohn hat es dann so gut gepasst, dass ich für mich auch noch eines bestellt und behalten habe. Für uns sind das Toperfahrungen, Topinformationen und Topinstrumente. Lieben Dank für Alles! Kann ich weiter empfehlen!

Freundlich, hilfsbereit und schnell. Ich war wegen einer defekten Querflöte vor Ort. Reparatur und Service ausnahmsweise auch ohne Voranmeldung. Ich bin begeistert. Ich konnte nicht wiederstehen und habe gleich auch noch Noten gekauft.

eigentlich braucht's hier keine bewertungen mehr, alles schon gesagt. aber dennoch ...

mal wieder top erfahrung. egal ob vor ort zum saxophone antesten, service-arbeiten usw.
oder eben (aktuell) wenn man ein neues mundstück sucht. in wien hat man's offenbar nicht nötig, da wird man beim bekannten musikhaus am rande von boboville telefonisch wenig einladend mit "najo kommen's halt mal vorbei und schauen's was da ist, viel hamma nicht, aber schau ma mal ..." abgespeist.

beim schagerl hingegen am hörer kompetent beraten (bzw. zurückgerufen!), am nächsten tag das paket mit 4 mundstücken plus div. blätter zur auswahl im postkaten. in ruhe daheim getestet. eines ausgesucht. den rest mit dem beigelegten retourschein kostenfrei zurückgeschickt. rechnungslegung dann korrekt und problemlos.

Wooow! Zu einem runden Geburtstag beschloss ich, mir nicht wie andere reife Männer eine Harley zu kaufen, sondern ein Alt-Saxophon. Nun begann ich mich in Wien, in dessen Nähe ich wohne, umzusehen. Na ja, ... ich begann darauf hin mich in Willhaben schlau zu machen. Über diesen Umweg bin ich auf die Firma Schagerl gestossen. Was ich dort von Anfang an erleben durfte, sucht seinesgleichen, vor allem im Vergleich mit den Mitbewerbern im Osten Österreichs, Wien. Von Anfang an, immer bestens beraten, kompetent, freundlich, objektiv, schnell, ... natürlich hebe ich hier die zwei "HolzbläserberaterInnen", Klaudia und Christian hervor. Aber auch vom Backoffice bin ich schon bestens unterstützt und bedient worden, leider fällt mir der Name dieser Mitarbeiterin nicht ein. Egal mit welchen Anliegen (Hallo Christian, meine Oktave-Klappe geht nicht auf :-) :-) :-) ) ich an diese freundlichen Menschen herangetreten bin, ich bin immer schnell, nett, telefonisch, vor Ort, via whatsapp, geduldig, extrem entgegenkommend, ... usw. usw., mir gehen jetzt leider die positiven Attribute für diese Firma Schagerl aus, man wird es mir hoffentlich verzeihen!!!!! Selbst wenn jemand in der Gegend Wien wohnen sollte, ... diese doch ein wenig mehr Kilometer nach Mank zahlen sich immer und unbedingt aus! Fooorzaaa Firma Schagerl und Forza Klaudia und Christian, ihr rockt mit all eurem Service die Blasmusikinstrumentenkäuferwelt!!! Daaankeee für alles bisher und weiter so!!!!!
