Very friendly and helpfully staff! Super view from the rooms and balcony. The room was very clean and everything you needed was there. The location is a little bit far away on the hill, but in 10 min you'r at your ski location. I can recommend this absolute.

Very pleasant stay, we booked the room the same day, because we needed shelter from the rain. Very nice owners and super nice and clean rooms - and beautiful surroundings. Can absolutely recommend.

Highly reccomend this place. Very nice hosts. Great Breakfast. Clean and spacious rooms. Quiet enough to sleep with open windows, and not far from the center of Matrei. Highly reccomend this place for walkers and hikers.

However I wouldn't have chosen semi-transparent glass door for the WC, it forces you to share your private moments with your SO

Das wohl billigste Hotel für eine Nacht in unserer Österreich Rundreise, und dennoch ein unglaublich schönes Hotel. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Radio im Bett und Kuhglocken auf der Weide die man hörte machten es sehr idyllisch, der Holz Stil sowie die Geschichte des Hotels, hat uns sehr gefallen. Preis Leistung mehr als in Ordnung, schwierig alleine ist der Weg rauf, aber alle mal wert.

Es war sehr schön und haben uns gefreut dort Gast sein zu dürfen. 🪵🏨

Der erste Eindruck zählt... dieser Spruch bestätigte sich voll und ganz, nachdem wir nach einer sehr langen Anreise am späten Abend herzlich empfangen wurden. Das Hotel ist auf dem neusten Stand und super ausgestattet. Das Zimmer bietet viel Platz und Stauraum an. Das Badezimmer ist auch sehr schön. Die Betten sind bequem und man schläft hier sehr gut. Es ist sehr sauber. Viele Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung. Für die Motorräder wird eine Garage angeboten. Zum Hotel gehört ein schöner liebevoll gepflegter Garten mit einem kleinen Spielplatz. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es findet sich für jeden etwas.Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Hier fühlt man sich wohl und im Urlaub angekommen. Gerne wieder

Zatrzymywaliśmy się tam po drodze do Włoch. Pokoje ładne i czyste, przed wejściem duży parking. Bardzo miła Pani z obsługi. Jedyny mankament to dość wąska droga dojazdowa. W lecie nie była problemem, ale zimą podjazd mógłby być trudny. Łańcuchy obowiazkowe.

Ich war zwei Tage hier. Einfach nur wunderbar. Die Besitzer sind extrem Gastfreundlich und sehr bemüht. Das Frühstück der Hammer. Das Zimmer, sowie das gesamte Haus sehr sehr Sauber. Die Lage ist traumhaft mit Blick in die Berge. Parkplätze vor der Tür und mein Motorrad durfte in die Private Garage.
Gleich gegenüber ist ein sehr gutes Gasthaus, die Besitzer sind ebenfalls sehr freundlich und überzeugen mit guter bodenständiger Küche und vernünftigen Preisen.
Alles in allem kann man nur sagen. Danke das es Euch gibt.

Siamo stati in un monolocale con bagno ed angolo cottura. balcone con super vista su valle e montagne. l’appartamento si trova a 5/6 km di stradina tutte curve sopra Matrei, e questo rende il soggiorno molto piacevole. sotto gli appartamenti c’è un comodo parcheggio ed e pochi metri un ottimo ristorante a gestione familiare. la signora che gestisce non parla inglese ma ci si capisce bene lo stesso: è stata disponibile e per 5 euro ci ha fatto un bucato. stra consigliato.

Nowe, czyste miejsce z super sympatycznymi właścicielami. Widok niesamowity na dolinę jeśli zamówisz pokój z widokiem. Chcesz poczuć Tyrol przyjedź tutaj. Urzekły mnie ręcznie wykonane detale. Stolarka, metalowe kute poręcze i masywne żelazne drzwi wejściowe. A do tego dostęp na karty i nowocześnie. Szczerze polecam.

Το επιλέξαμε για πριν και μετά την ανάβαση στο Γκροσγκλόκνερ, έπρεπε να μεταφέρουμε την διανυκτέρευση μια μέρα νωρίτερα και η επικοινωνία ήταν άμεση και γρήγορη.
Ο ξενώνας βρίσκεται σε υπέροχη τοποθεσία με φανταστική θέα.
Το δωμάτιο που μας δόθηκε ήταν εξαιρετικό (βέβαια πληρώσαμε κάτι παραπάνω και λόγω αλλαγής). Όλα έλαμπαν από την καθαριότητα.
Οι οικοδεσπότες είναι καταπληκτικοί, αν και δεν μιλούν αγγλικά, τελικά τα καταφέραμε με την τεχνολογία.
Σίγουρα συστήνεται!!!

Questo albergo l'abbiamo scoperto per caso. Ma è un albergo molto bello e molto pulito. Anzi, in quanti alberghi siamo stati, in questo abbiamo trovato la stanza, il bagno e la cucina che brillava. La stanza era molto bella e calda(fuori faceva freddo), con una vista sulle montagne. C'era il piano cottura, e tutte le posate, padelle e pentole per cucinare qualcosa. Se saremo di nuovo dalle parti di Austria, l'albergo in quale ci fermeremo, sarà questo. La famiglia che gestisce questo albergo è molto gentile. Complimenti alla signora per la pulizia brillante, che già dal entrata si nota la brillantezza del pavimento e zero polvere. Lo consiglio a tutti!

Ero in viaggio in moto con la mia ragazza e volevamo passare una giornata sul Grossglockner e abbiamo trovato quasi per caso questa struttura su Booking, scelta inizialmente perché era l'alternativa più economica.
Arrivati sul posto siamo stati accolti calorosamente da una signora, gentile e sorridente. Nella pratica di registrazione per il checkin ha gentilmente offerto della grappa a me e del tè caldo alla mia ragazza. Successivamente ci ha accompagnato in camera, dove abbiamo trovato tutto il necessario possibile: la stanza è composta da un comodo letto matrimoniale, un armadio adatto per due persone, un televisore e una scrivania con una sedia, dove è anche possibile consumare spuntini. Il bagno è sufficientemente grande e con tutto il necessario. Tutta la camera è allestita in stile alpino e la finestra affaccia sulle montagne. Per ogni piano è possibile accedere su un balcone/terrazzino con tavoli e sedie, con una bella vista panoramica sulla vallata e sulle montagne.
È difficile trovare qualcosa che non va in un posto così carino e, soprattutto, al prezzo che mi è stato offerto, ma se devo proprio cercare il pelo nell'uovo ed evidenziare qualcosa che non va, è la presenza di un ascensore. Ma, per quanto mi riguarda, non è stato un problema, però immagino possa esserlo per chi deve pernottare nei piani più alti o per chi potrebbe avere problemi motori per salire le scale.

Absolute 5 Sterne.
Super nette Gastgeber. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Ruhige Gegend mit sensationellen Ausblick. Wir waren schon 4 mal in Matrei immer in einem anderen Hotel. Ab jetzt immer hier!!
