This was my first time on a mountain peak and the highest point I have ever climbed. I am a bit afraid of hights so I was a bit dizzy and scared first. But oh boi was it worth. Yes. I would not have wanted to missed this out. It is an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Jaw dropping view. Not just from the peak but throughout the whole journey to the peak. It is a bit hard to get there but it is a challenge both physically and mentally.

Wonderful mountain and tour.
From parking place on 1400 took us 3h to the hut.
Took a swim in the lake also, awesome experience.
From the hit also 3h to the summit.
We also took via ferrata to the summit. Ferrata is only for experienced hikers.
Recommended.

This "Place of Worship" is a little hard to reach, but it is worth the effort, my prayers where as effective as never before. Now I am stopping the joking, it was a really nice hike and I really enjoyed the peak with a great view. The Way up is not to complicated, but should only be attempted in the summer months or with proper winter equipment.

Má první hora v takové výšce zdolána... 🫡Obtížnost střední, raději jsme došeli na chatu Arthur von Schmid Haus, kde jsme přespali, a druhý den zdolání hory a návrat do Mallnitz. ✌

Eine sehr schöne Tour von Dösental aus, als Wanderung mit oder ohne Klettersteig und auch im Winter als Skitour sehr zu empfehlen. Als Einkehrmöglichkeit gibt es auf halben Weg das Arthur von Schmidhaus, direkt an einem wunderschönen Bergsee gelegen.

Sehr gut angelegter Klettersteig ohne künstliche Steighiflen. Das Stahlseil soll eigentlich nur der Sicherung dienen und geklettert an dem herrlichen Fels werden. Dazu die traumhafte Landschaft gekrönt mit dem Dösener See.

... ein wirklich schöner 3000er Gipfel, der von einer Seite auch sehr gut erreichbar ist ! ... der Verbindungsgrat zur Hochalmspitze (Detmoldergrat) ist ein absolutes Highlight ! ... aber auch sehr heikel ! ... nur für geübte Bergsteiger mit Klettererfahrung und guter Kondition ! Lg Normann
