Wir sind von der Hochschoberhütte über das Leibnitztörl -2591 m- zunächst hinauf zum Schobertörl -2898 m- gewandert. Dann die letzten 150 Hm hinauf zum Gipfel vom Debantgrat. Die Aussicht von dort ist herrlich. Die Glocknergruppe mit Großglockner, Venedigergruppe und die Gipfel der Schobergruppe bilden ein sensationelles Panorama. Natürlich kann dieser Berg auch über das Lesachtal (Kals) oder aber von der Lienzer Hütte bestiegen werden. Der Abstieg erfolgte in unserem Fall hinab ins Lesachtal.
