Salvos Stores Southern Cross

Small store, all little cramped for more than one person on each aisle but I scored a vintage 1970s Oxford heel for $8. Loved it !

I was really impressed by the manager Aleisha who treated everyone who came in with so much respect, had a banging playlist on and was a delight to interact with ! She went above and beyond, full of great chat and even went as far as recommending me and another customer a second opshop to visit in the city.

I really applaud how delightful she was to the gentleman who was visting the store in need of bedding. She was super friendly, wrote him down contact details for a place where he could get further help and did not treat him any differently to anyone else in store. So great to see !

Ended the visit with a smile on my face and a cute new vest :)

This is the BEST! Vintage - preloved designer clothing shop I have ever been to ! Stock and prices are exceptional and ALL the staff including the gentleman who facilitates security are so friendly and helpful. Truly a Melbourne 'must do' experience! I'll be back :) 😀

Great store, right near Melbourne Central. I stopped in during my travels to grab a jacket on one of those unexpectedly cold Melbourne days lol. The staff were friendly, they had a good range of clothes and alot of the clothes were in really good nick. I would definitely stop in again!

Not a big store but really good finds! Great selection of sportswear, street wear and office wear. The city is also quite densely populated with Asians so there’re also sizes for the people who are on the petite side.

Everything I heard about this place is true. It's small but there are great finds.

Lovely staff and always appreciative of my donations. Clothes, jewellery, kitchen and household appliances. Saved me a lot of trouble when moving from the CBD.
I understand that staff shortages and timing might make it tricky to answer the phone, but it would be great if they could call back.

Fabulous customer service. The lovely woman asked me a couple of questions, and before I knew it she had retrieved a reflective yellow bum bag with bonus glow sticks from downstairs. I was well kitted for a techno dance party that very afternoon. Thank you!
