The fact that you called us at 12.30 to say our room was ready was amazing and something no other hotel has ever done. Great location walking distance to the gardens. Room was clean and tidy. Playing pool and listening to records was a lovely touch that we and the kids enjoyed doing. Breakfast was great and staff were lovely. We will definitely be back.

From the moment we entered the building at reception we were greeted by Bree at reception who was welcoming & extremely helpful & explained everything clearly. Our room was clean comfortable & a good size, we would have liked to have stayed longer.

Cody in the restaurant made you feel like you were the only guest even though he was busy, the food was quite good & a nice experience. I couldn't find any faults with our stay.

Kind & Friendly Staff great when you first arrive. Great Customer Service and can any questions we had. Conveniently located next to the Hunter Valley Gardens. Rooms are clean. Swimming Pool is an open space and fun. Bathtub for 2 is very comfortable for my husband and I to fit. Very happy will definitely be coming back!! Elements restaurant was also a stand out, with great food and little stuffed dinosaurs for the kids. So friendly and kind. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

I can’t speak more highly of the staff here, so helpful and nice which makes traveling with a baby so much easier.

The location is really handy, right inbetween the gardens and restaurants.

Rooms were bigger than I expected and the bath has water jets!

I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Hunter for wine or a family trip.

We liked our two nights stay. the service was very good. the room and the bedding was comfy. We used the resort's pool and the restaurant. The activity room was nice where my family enjoyed playing pool and there was a great collection of the old records, which you could play of the recorder.

Numerous wineries are only a short drive away and very handy to shopping and pub. Nice bar and pool table in the common area. Rooms are spacious, loved the bathroom with glass ceiling and sunken bath. Friendly staff and a comfortable bed topped the stay off wonderfully.

The manicured gardens really make this place special. Set amongst beautiful deciduous trees and colourful hedges, the outlook from our room and from the breakfast restaurant was fantastic. Spacious room with nice shower. Staff were helpful and friendly. Make sure you go to Brokenwood winery next door.

We got upgraded to presidential suite. Easy access to swimming pool, spa pool, and sauna.Free parking.

Wonderful cheese platter. It was served wrong with non gluten free. However, it was well managed by the lady at the bar. The cheese plater got swapped for gluten free version with complimentary drinks.

As soon as we arrived from à car journey, we got our room availble and prepared. The evening with a glass of wine in apéritif and our dîner with filet mignon or lamb cassoulet were nice and always à Nice welvome attitude. The hoel is well situation in the hunter valley and we were easily able to visit several wineries

Bree was super kind. Getting early check in was a life saver before a wedding we were attending. The bath with the skylight was so gorgeous, as were the courtyards interconencted to the pool and gardens. Super pretty.

I recently stayed there for two nights. The hotel location is exquisite, close to what anybody would like to get best of Hunter Valley - Shopping village, Hunter Valley Gardens, golf driving range, wineries, distilleries and list goes on. Very friendly staff with excellent. Highly recommended

Family stay to visit the Hunter Valley Christmas Lights, which was a quick walk from the hotel. Excellent staff on arrival to greet and provide overview of the hotel and surrounding locations. Room was great, it backed out onto the pool area which the kids loved along with the games room. Overall, really enjoyable stay and would book this hotel again in the future.

Stayed for the Hunter Valley lights, deal was amazing we worked out that our accommodation only cost $170 after all the inclusions (entry for 4 into the lights worth $116, 6 ride tickets each (only 1 ticket per ride) valued at $6 per ticket & also breakfast the next day was included which you would usually spend around $100 on breakfast for two adults & two kids). Games room was great for the kids & the pool area is lovely. Only downfall was when we went to check in at 1.30pm our room wasn't ready (no issue as check in wasn't until 2pm) but we were told we could swim & they would call us when our room was ready so got changed in the car & spent time at the pool... it got to 4pm & we were getting stressed as we still needed to unpack the car, shower the kids & have a bit of down time before the lights as it was going to be a big night. Went to reception to see if our room was ready & they said it had been ready for ages they were waiting on us but the duties had swapped over so it was just a bit of miss communication on the hand over. All in all it was a lovely place to stay & everyone we dealt with was great, buffet breakfast was also amazing.

What a fantastic place to stay. Very well located - literally a 1min walk up a path within the property and you’re right in McGuigan’s winery! Lots of other wineries close by too, but we had a lovely lunch (with a bottle of wine of course!) at McGuigan’s, then strolled back to the resort. Lovely pool, children’s pool and spa. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was delicious, as was the buffet breakfast next morning.
Our room was gorgeous (we were lucky enough to score an upgrade, and had the most incredible suite, complete with huge fireplace and massive courtyard), and all the staff couldn’t have been any more helpful.
I honestly could not recommend this beautiful resort enough, and will 1000% be returning.
It was just fabulous.

We found our room to be clean and well-maintained, on the reception area we found a spacious living area and a pristine pool, very clean to add. The sauna was a nice bonus that we enjoyed.

We had a wonderful stay between Xmas & NY. Our room was conveniently located for access to the pool which suited us perfectly. Breakfast selection was sufficient, as was the all-day dining menu and all staff were efficient and provided great service throughout our stay. Well located and great facilities.
