The Switch Perth Central

LOVE IT!! We've been living here for more than a year now and it has been an absolutely amazing experience. The rooms are great, the staff is exceptionally awesome, all the amenities are in the building which makes it super convenient, overall it's been a great experience. I 100% would highly recommend The Switch.

An amazing experience staying at The Switch Living! The studio apartment is fantastic, and I loved the ambience. The location is perfect ,it's close to everything I needed, from grocery stores to restaurants to public transportation. The studio is beautifully furnished and decorated, and it had everything I needed to feel right at home.The staff at The Switch Living are incredibly friendly and helpful.I really appreciate their hospitality. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and stylish place to stay:)

My experiences has been superb by the switch. The community is fantastic. The facilities that are kindly given by the switch are of immense quality. The staff deserve awards for their performance of a new building. Handling everything with such grace can only be applauded. The switch keeps consistently adding to our experience going above and beyond. They help local businesses thrive by making them accessible for everyone. If you want, good staff that care for you. If you want access to study areas, podcast rooms. A gym, washing machines, a cinema, roof top.. All in your own place? What a dream. Oh and also in the centre of town? Yeah this place more than makes up for any issue that may appear with everything they offer.

Nice apartment and great location, I'm really happy to be living at The Switch. Perth Station is across the street, many bars and restaurants nearby, everything is perfect! The rooftop is amazing and the free laundry is a life savior! Love the bambikes :)

At first, the lifts were slow and most of the time only two (out of 3) functioned. And, there were issues with the fire alarm that made me went from top floor to the lobby. Nevertheless, they made up to these issues. They fixed the lifts and the fire alarm. I have to appreciate them for their efforts.

Moved into the building a month ago, it’s in the heart of the city so that’s super convenient to travel around in Perth. The rooms are super nice and clean, love the view as well!

I love the accommodation and their facilities they offer. There is no places in the CBD were you can’t find all your needs..

I’m very happy with living at Switch! Very helpful staff and the bulging itself is amazing. So many events going on, so many places where to study and make new friends.

bed is pretty comfy, spacious studio room for 1 people and the views are immaculate. little soho on ground floor also provides great coffee and food if u are in a rush

The switch, is a wonderful place to reside in. Great community and the receptionists are all extremely friendly and helpful. There are also so many extra features like the added security that makes living at the switch so safe.

Amazing place to rent, facilities are new and fancy. Gym's great and laundry's free for tenants! Great location that's close to the busport and perth station. Best choice for UWA students planning to live off-campus too.

✔PROS:
• Location is very convenient. (Supermarket nearby, shopping malls, banks, public transport etc.)

• Technologically advanced place. (Use phone to unlock doors, pay rent, laundry etc.)

• Studio Apartment have great cabinet space

• Studio Apartment have good kitchen appliances (but no manuals & not many staff at that time were familar with the controls. Had to figure it out myself. Would advice to have a manual or link [have free instructions online] provided to new tenants)

• Friendly staff & services

• Great facilities (Gym, study room, theatre etc.)

• Free laundry

• Good place for students to stay (StudyPerth office is at ground floor, great community of students living here, Study room etc.)

• Fun events or gatherings hosted (e.g. StudyPerth events for students, Switch having booths/pop-up classes, Switch having rooftop party/gathering etc.)

• Free WiFi & electricity (included in rent)

❌ CONS:
• Studio Apartment may seem small or cramped if you prefer space

• The walls of the apartment are thin, can hear neighbours talking sometimes. Even when they are outside

• Many tenants fighting for laundry, not enough washing & drying machines for the no. of tenants

• In the beginning, there were many fire alarms (but I believe they fixed the issue as there aren't frequent alarms)

• Security isn't the best. Though at night the entrance can only be accessed by tenants using their phone/card, strangers can still follow behind & come in (experienced once seeing a stranger exploring & attempting to go through different floors but luckily could not without a card/phone)

• WiFi isn't the best, experienced Internet connecting not working a few times

I'm at the Switch since August and so far so good. I really the rooftop and the gym. It's so great to have full access to a gym and trainers in your building.

Affordable place with security and amenities in the CBD. I've been staying here since 8 months and so far the experience was amazing. The Switch people are very nice and very helping around the corner.

Booking with the Switch has been a great decision for me. The location is super convenient and accessible. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful.

As an international student, I always envision myself to be living in an environment that promotes creative lifestyle, encourage flexibility and provides convenience. I am fortunate to be living at Switch Perth Central which provides all I need.

The place is really comfortable n has a lot of facilities that support my study. It worth the price to stay there
