We cannot thank the Dark family and the entire team at Mali Brae enough for the most incredible wedding experience we could have imagined. Mali Brae Farm was the first and only wedding venue we visited when we first looked into venues, as for us, it was love at first sight! Mali Brae is the whole package and more, boasting multiple incredible sites for ceremonies, a range of locations for photos and two beautiful options to host receptions. We loved that the venue was so close to Sydney and had the ability to host our ceremony and reception in the one place, which was also convenient for our guests. We have still not stopped receiving comments about how in awe our guests were of this place, and we are so grateful to have found it!

Absolutely amazing! The venue, staff, cows and everything in-between were all amazing. These guys go above and beyond to make sure everyone is having the best day possible. We had someone helping with any request while shooting a wedding from chauffeur to triple wine glass holding for photos. My favourite venue service so far.

I married my beautiful wife at Mali Brae just under a month ago now. From the first time we visited for a little tour to the day after our wedding, all we could think was how excited we were to have our special day there.
The communication was excellent across the board from everyone we were in touch with, and the team on the day (thank you Ella!) were so on top of everything that neither myself or my wife had to coordinate anything on the day!
We got lots of compliments on our choice of venue, particularly as we had the amazing autumn colours among the trees, which we painstakingly picked our date for that!
Everyone, ourselves included, had a most enjoyable night and we cannot be thankful enough for everyone at Mali Brae who made it so effortlessly wonderful.

10/10! This is honestly the perfect place to get married! The venue itself is stunning, with multiple locations to choose for your ceremony. All our guests commented how beautiful the venue is, which it is truly stunning.
I cannot fault the staff! When we first went to look at the venue we were greeted and shown around by Amelia. She was so warm and welcoming, it was a factor as to why we chose the venue! The staff look after you so well from the planning through to the day itself. I had multiple questions regarding the day during the planning process which they would always address, very promptly. On the wedding day itself, you don’t even need to think, you can just relax and enjoy the day.
The team make you feel at ease, and always make sure you’re looked after. They make the day run so smoothly, so you can just enjoy it.
The food! The food was amazing from start to finish. We had a few dietaries, which they were able to cater for with ease and everyone commented how good the food was! Especially the scallop canapé ☺

My Husband and I were married at Mali Brae last May 2023 and I could not fault the venue at all. From the first moment we arrived to check it out we knew this was the place for us. The beauty of the farm and cool sheik barn like reception was perfect I originally wanted an outdoor ceremony but it was very cold on our wedding day so we got married in the pavilion and I had no regrets as it was such a beautiful space. My sister in law was our florist and she only had praise for the help and support of the staff while setting up the florals.
From the second I arrived to get married I didn't have to think of anything! Krisna was so outstanding running our day fixing my dress getting us food and even putting two enormous plates of food in our beautiful cosy little cabin for eating after everything was done (and it was a great meal infromt of the fireplace at 3am) i loved the cabin stay. They even drove us to all our photos and hustled us at the right time so we didn't miss the good light (phew). A month before the wedding i discovered I was pregnant and Mali brae staff ensured my glass was always full of alcohol free drinks but the vino flowed freely for everyone else!
The only regret I have is during my thank you speech saying the wrong name and not giving Krisna the absolute praise she deserved!
If you want the most beautiful wedding with fun, beauty, fireplaces and amazing food!!! You will never regret Mali Brae everyone who came to wedding still raves about the venues beauty and the lovely cows.
If Mali Brae can just make some cabins so we can come back for an anniversary that would be the cherry on top! Or maybe we get married again so we can go back.

I photographed a wedding at the Lovely Mali Brae Farm and was blown away when I arrived by the venues natural beauty. There are so many spots dotted around the the farm that are just perfect for photos.. we really were spoilt for choice! On top of this the day ran really smoothly thanks to the venues owners and staff. All round it was a great experience both for my couple and for myself. Everyone was raving about it! I'm looking forward to returning again for my next wedding so I can continue to explore the photographic possibilities this stunning venue has to offer! Would definitely recommend Mali Brae to anyone looking for a venue!

Mali Brae is just amazing and we had the perfect day. This was the first venue we looked and nothing else came close. It's beautiful and they were so lovely, accommodating and easy to work with. Everything ran completely to plan, the ceremony was brilliant, so many great spots for photos, the food was incredible. Everyone had such a good time. My husband and I got married in June 2024 at this incredible venue. The team are wonderful to work with and made the experience magical for us every step of the way. They are warm and welcoming to everyone who visits and we can’t thank them enough for the role they played on our special day. The food was incredible - we had lots of our guests comment on this and how beautiful the venue is.

Richard took us around the farm for photos in an ATV to make sure we could get the best spots before the sun went down. Our favourite part was seeing the highland cows, of course. That’s what caught my eye in the first place. The whole experience, start to finish did not disappoint.

DREAM WEDDING VENUE. I couldn't recommend a wedding venue more highly. Not only is the farm beautiful, the whole wedding planning process was so seamless with this family owned, tight nit working group. From the day we went to visit the farm, to all the check ins along the way to the wedding day, the wedding planning team went above and beyond. We loved this venue initially because they were very transparent with costs, the food was AMAZING and they had a beautiful wet weather option which every bride needs to keep her head chill the week of the wedding. They were also very helpful with vendors. We hired many vendors which frequent Mali Brae often and it just made the day run even smoother having people there which new the venue inside and out. As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding at Mali Brae Farm, and I must say that it is one of the most picturesque and stunning wedding venues I have ever worked at.

The farm is nestled in the heart of the Southern Highlands of New South Wales and offers a breathtaking backdrop for any wedding. The property boasts of lush greenery, towering trees, and an abundance of rustic charm that gives it a distinct character and sets it apart from other venues.

What really sets Mali Brae Farm apart, though, is the attention to detail in its design and layout. It has multiple ceremony locations that help in any weather situation. The reception area is equally stunning, with a rustic barn that has been expertly renovated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The barn features high ceilings with exposed wooden beams and provides ample natural light that is perfect for capturing beautiful photos. There's also another reception area for the intimate weddings.

The staff at Mali Brae Farm are incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They go above and beyond to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day of the wedding, which is a huge relief for both the bride and groom and the wedding vendors.

Overall, I highly recommend Mali Brae Farm as a wedding venue to any couple looking for a picturesque and charming location for their special day. The natural beauty of the surroundings, the attention to detail in the design, and the helpful staff all make it a dream location for any wedding photographer.

The Mali Brae team went above and beyond anything we imagined. We knew it would be fabulous, but we didn’t realise how fabulous.

We envisaged our wedding being intimate. Our families combined were pushing 400 (not even including friends or semi-distant relatives!) and it just wasn’t us to have a showy event and be on display. The engagement bliss fell a bit when excitement turned to stress as we realised how big the guest list was going to be. So we had only the nearest and dearest: 38 people including the bridal party and it was the best decision ever. We were able to speak with all of our guests beyond “thanks for coming, enjoy the meal”, and even though the farm is beautifully large, Mali Brae made our small wedding work like a dream with a gorgeous long table in Augustine’s Room.

We first came to visit Mali Brae 12 months earlier. It was the first venue we visited and we didn’t end up visiting any others. From the onset, the planning was made so easy with the planning space that included recommendations (including florals by Blush and Bloom, and photography by Thomas Stewart), concepts, and styles. The communication throughout was excellent with notifications and updates - something we were desperately grateful for given how much goes into a wedding, how much you forget, and how fast the time flies when planning!

The team were open to new ideas and so flexible and accomodating to accessibility needs. On the day, the team had a flawless operation from the time we arrived to the time we left. The support on the day was a huge surprise with everything being coordinated from walking down the aisle, setting up private canapés before joining our guests, and even turning the heater on in the cottage for us before returning after all the festivities. I knew the team would be there but I didn’t realise how fantastically they’d be assisting us - they were visible when needed and very discrete otherwise.

The farm is stunning with so many options for ceremony locations and photos. Having the buggy to drive us around was brilliant as we were able to get around to multiple locations for a few different shots in a short timeframe.

The food was out of this world. With a huge range of options to choose from, and very accomodating to dietary restrictions, there’s nowhere to go wrong. Every guest was blown away by how good the food was, and we can genuinely say that with 40-ish people because we were able to get around and talk to them all! Many of our guests in the planning stage were confused by our choices and the lack of tradition, but at the end of the night raved about it and how great the venue was for exactly that.

We were also seen off by two adorable four legged friends, which was the cherry on top. We can’t imagine being married anywhere else. It was a truly magical day, in a truly magical venue, by a truly magical team. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We recently attended a winter wedding at Malli Brae Farm and we loved it! The venue was beautiful and all the staff were lovely & very helpful. The view from the ceremony room was stunning and the cows are so cute. The reception room was beautiful and the fireplace made it very warm & cosy. The food was delicious and special dietary needs were well catered for.

The Mali Brae Team (Amelia, Greg, Shelly, Krisna, Grace, & Mikayla.. to name a few) made all our wedding dreams come true! We felt we were in the best hands possible and the day wouldn't have been the success it was without them.

They offer a 'Planning Space' which has all your wedding planning needs, from vendor suggestions, floorplan's, food and drink menus, runsheets, and more! With 100 acres to play with, the venue had the whole package for creative photos, multiple choices for ceremony sites, which offer their own unique vision, and an amazing reception area to celebrate and dance the night away. Grace and the kitchen staff created PHENOMENAL food, not one wedding guest went hungry and were extremely complimentary of the service provided. The communication leading up to and on the day was impeccable and took away all the stress and worry that comes with organising a wedding.

We could not recommend Mali Brae enough and the incredible team that comes with it, you can tell they love what they do which makes it even more special. Thank you Mali Brae, can we do it all again?

We had our wedding at Mali Brae Farm in October 2022. Our wedding day was perfect! Firstly this venue is stunning. You can't get better backgrounds for your wedding day photos. The food was delicious and the whole day just ran so smoothly, thanks to the amazing team at Mali Brae. We are so glad we chose this venue for our wedding. Highly recommended!

Mali Brae Farm is by far one of the most magical wedding venues and easily the best decision we made for our special day! From the amazing team of Mali Brae leading up to the wedding, to the beautiful and friendly staff that just made our day run so smoothly. No one else could have done it better! They all went above and beyond to make our day beautiful and perfect with ease!

The food was delicious! Most of our guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever tasted. The venue locations on site are spectacular and the choice of options is amazing! We ended up having to move our ceremony inside at the last minute due to weather, but the staff of Mali Brae made that transition completely stress free and everything ran perfectly the entire night.

Even though we knew from our very first interaction that the venue and team were incredible (on MULTIPLE recommendations and good words from friends and colleagues), somehow, they still completely exceeded our expectations.

I cannot fault a single thing from our day. Mali Brae Farm runs like a well-oiled machine, and somehow the team still managed to be incredibly flexible to meet our many needs and requests.

The food is also exceptional. All our guests left happy with no complaints. We had an intimate wedding which is difficult to find a venue that would provide a full ceremony and reception package. But Mali Brae covers it all. When I walked into the Augustine room with the floor to ceiling windows that had me sold. We are so happy we found this place. Absolutely stunning venue, amazing staff and delicious food!

We had our ceremony and reception at Mali Brae Farm last weekend and can honestly say it was the best day of our lives! Even though it rained and thundered, the Mali Brae team went above and beyond for us to make sure our day was as successful and memorable as it was. We even got to take pictures with their cows (pic below for reference)!! The food was also delicious and all my guests agreed!
