Birches Mudgee

Really lovely room and had an amazing outdoor layout! It was roomy and so clean!Had the best outdoor seating where you can walk around and see the garden. The host, Jerry, was really fantastic. The breakfast was prepared by him and it was simple and really nice. The common space was huge and gorgeous and the interior design makes you feel at home. My partner and I stayed for a wedding and this accomodation was just a 5-minute drive away from the venue, so this was perfect. My partner also said it took him around 20min walk to the shops.

My partner asked Jerry to write me a birthday card with some flowers as a surprise, and he did so well! It was such a lovely gesture.

Our stay at Birches Mudgee was an absolute delight even though it was only for a 1,5 day and it's not just the stunning surroundings that made it so special. From the moment we arrived, the owners' warm welcome and genuine hospitality made is feel like an old friend coming home. Their enthusiasm for sharing the beauty of Mudgee and their bed and breakfast was infectious, and I couldn't help but feel lucky to have found this hidden gem.

The owners' attention to detail was evident throughout in the B&B apartments. The elegantly designed communal lounge area and the carefully curated breakfast dining space showcased their commitment to creating a haven of comfort and relaxation. The cozy open fireplace provided the perfect setting to unwind during chilly winter evenings, while the refreshing swimming pool offered respite during the warmer days.
The location itself was a dream. With a short stroll to Mudgee or a quick drive to town and local vineyards.

Birches Mudgee is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience guided by the owners' genuine passion and love for their guests. We already looking forward to returning to this oasis of warmth and relaxation on our next journey to Mudgee.

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in April. Facilities were very comfortable, breakfasts were generous, and the common lounge well-equipped. Location just out of town not far from the airport was great and it was very quiet.

My partner and I stayed with Pam and David for the weekend and were blown away with the immaculate grounds (one acre of beautifully kept lawn, roses, pool), the gorgeous common living area with interesting books and a lovely warm fire, and the modern and cozy room with all of the amenities. We rented their well maintained bikes and rode around a few wineries. Thank you David and Pam!

Just stayed here on the weekend with friends to enjoy the local regions food and wine. We booked 2 of the rooms. Absolutely amazing and spot on for a B&B. Pam and David are brilliant friendly hosts and nothing is too much of a hassle for them. They are just awesome. We'll be back the next time we are in Mudgee!

Fabulous accommodation with thoughtful hosts.
The room was immaculate.
The location perfect for walking to town or driving to nearby wineries.

Our favourite BnB ever for the rooms, common areas, amazing breakfast and lovely hosts. Pam and Dave are really helpful and with lots of tips. It is quite central and highly recommended for couples. Also, do spend some time unwinding in the beautiful garden.

We were lucky enough to book for 3nights here in the in The Wren Room. A Beautiful Luxurious open space Bedroom and Bathroom, the queen size bed very comfortable and firm, fell asleep straight away and there is seating area if you want to work or read a book. The bathroom is very grand, you can shower or relax in the bathtub, and you have bath robes provided, which is a bonus. Its only 5mins away from Town and its great you have your own private access door, so you don’t disturb the others when you leave or return.

Our friends also booked here too they stayed in the other two rooms and it was great to have the common lounge and dining area where we come together and catch up, laugh, sing and have worship together. Recommend booking the whole 3 rooms if you and your family or friends want a Luxurious & Romantic Bed and Breakfast Getaway.

One of the best breakfasts you will ever have in a B&B

Recently stayed here for my wife's birthday weekend with some family. The open community area (which is only for 3 rooms) is very spacious, modern and well equipped with fast wifi, modern bluetooth streaming music options, always available a variety of teas, Nespresso coffee, fridge for all your needs, & comfy (spaced out) lounges. Plenty of books and magazines to read & relax even.

Beautiful outlook on gardens and the pool, indoor fireplace (not used in Feb. 2021, but I could imagine during the cooler months, it would be awesome!), and then a breakfast in the morning, which you request what hot breakfast you would like. Absolutely delicious.

Owners are very friendly and very accommodating. We will be back for sure. Its also a short walk to some nearby wineries and cheese tasting venues. We also walked to town , but it may not be for everyone.

Rooms are massive, very modern and everything is high quality and well equipped.

Recommended to everyone.
