Absolutely loved my time at this Chinese tea shop! The tea varieties were extensive, and the snacks were deliciously paired with the aromatic brews. The tranquil atmosphere made for a serene retreat. What's more, at just $20 per person for two hours, it's an incredible value for such a fantastic experience. The owner's warm hospitality added an extra layer of charm. Highly recommend this gem for tea lovers!

I stumbled upon Toppotea by chance, and as a lover of Chinese traditional tea, I was thoroughly impressed with their extensive tea collection and the wide variety of tea cups and vessels they offer. Shane, a highly knowledgeable tea connoisseur, guided me through trying different types of white tea, which happens to be one of my favorites.

Lovely people who sell and serve amazing tea. I highly recommend their tea tasting for $20 per person. You won't regret it. However, keep in mind that you may walk out with more than you were expecting. It's not just tea but so many other things. I also asked on of the people how I am to steep oolong tea as I want to do it justice and he happily gave me some advice to get the best out of the tea.

Came here a while ago and for $20 you get to try 3 teas (which they will refill) with snacks. For $20 it lets you try some new exciting teas and entertains you for a while. The decor is nice and the actual tea is very high quality.

Highly recommend!! Amazing experience with quite reasonable price. Tea tasting was $20 per person with 3 options of your tea and some snacks. They kindly keep poring additional hot water to your pot. After having their tea in peace, I found my body have become so warm and relaxed. You should give it a try instead of having beer after work!!!!

This store is beautiful. They are extremely knowledgable and passionate about their teas. Great selection of authentic Chinese teas and beautiful tea sets/equipment. We got to taste the teas that we bought and will definitely be back for a tea tasting session. Highly recommend.

A true, authentic Chinese tea house that is a must for all tea lovers. They have a tea tasting for $15 with a variety of teas of your choice, including snacks. I will always walk away with at least one item as well because their collection is just so beautiful. Relaxing ambience and friendly people.

The staff are very friendly and the ambience is beautiful. The prices are very reasonable. It is one of the few places I have found in Sydney where you can relax and enjoy traditional Chinese culture.

If you are interested in learning Guqin (古琴), I strongly recommend Topotea. The teacher, Boon, is knowledgeable and extremely patient - an added bonus is that he speaks English. The introductory lesson is well presented as well as informative and, like their other products and services, very reasonably priced compared to other places I have been to.
