Walked right in without an appointment as my doctor told me to and it was great. In and out in 20 min. Not sure who the other reviewers are talking about but she must not be there anymore.

Attended with my son who needed an X-ray staff were friendly and helpful. The imaging was completed and we were out the door within 15 mins.

Dianne did my xray today and she was friendly and professional. My second visit to Wallsend Hunter Imaging and I would certainly recommend them.

The front office staff were really friendly and helpful, I got straight in and the process was really efficient and professional.

These guys are an absolute disgrace. My heavily pregnant wife travelled from Gloucester and due to traffic was 15 minutes late. Even after ringing through to head office and informing them she was going to be late in which they assured her that it would be fine, on arrival the lady at the desk very rudely stated it was to bad and that she will need to book another appointment. What an absolute disgraceful act and this lady should go home and have a real good look at herself.
I would avoid this clinic at all costs.

All new mothers please avoid coming here!

Our experience

My wife attended this facility around 9 months ago for an initial ultrasound. Her experience was horrendous.

The Sonographer struggled to get an image then blamed my wife for having drank "too much water". She also completely excluded my wife from seeing any part of the scan.

At the end of the scan the sonographer told my wife to 'expect a miscarriage in the next couple of weeks'.....

As you can imagine that not only spoiled the scan but also crippled my wife in grief. She still has anxiety over this today.

We got a hold of our obstetrician who told us not to worry and sent us to a different sonographer. Not only did they find the baby, our daughter was born full term and is healthy and happy.

My wife's treatment here led to a lot of anxiety and breakdowns throughout her pregnancy. We were advised to warn others about this experience (which we have been) to hopefully prevent it happening to anyone else.

The rudest old lady just served me at wallsend. After calling the number to see if i could get a xray today. The nice lady from call centre said to just walk in ask for x-ray without a booking and you should be ok. But warned me they close for lunch at 12 30pm.
After getting there at 11 30am. An elderly lady ask what I wanted. After handing over my request form. She rudely said said set down it will be a hour. I said yes but you close for lunch at 12 30pm. She said yes that's right. So that means I will be waiting for 2 hours. She said yes.
I walked out at 11 35am 24th July 2019. And now on my way to Hunter radiology were my doctor asked me to go.
Poor service.
Could've been better handled.
I'm a trainer in customer service. I would advise this business to retrain staff more regularly.

Didn't mention I needed ct scan on phone told to walk in. Struggled with pain, lady belittled me in front of father & son speaking loudly as though I was tone deaf. Told her I had excellent hearing & to please do not yell at me. Have to have an x-ray but hey their equipment is down. Hope she is not there when I go Friday 2/8.

the lady that served me was very rude and unhelpful. does not seem professional at all i left feeling very stressed and in tears. would not recommend!
