Tocal Field Days

I went today for the first time. Fantastic experience for everyone.
I am sitting here now eating these macadamia nuts I purchased today from the show. Medowie honey coated macadamias and the chocolate dipped ones.....omg they are so delicious!!!!!
Purchased some nice clothes today too, and the hot chips we had where actually proper potatoe chips and cooked perfectly.

What a great day, well recommended. Will definitely be back next year!

Best family event around. Plenty to see and do and great food selection.
We love seeing the animals, live music and heading over to the homestead.

A fun day for the whole family! The event is well organised with a huge variety of stalls, good parking and plenty of entertainment for the kids.

Wonderful family day out had. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Saw so many interesting stalls and exhibitions. Spoke to lots of friendly people. The kids loved the animals and tractor riding, we ate yummy food! It’s in the diary again for next year. Well done to all involved your hard work was very evident! Thank you.

Great day went Friday an it was a school day with kids every were.

Such an amazing field day, like rural shows of days gone by. So many things to see like farm machinery, mowers, water tanks, all sorts of clothing, but really so much more to see and I drive two and a half hours each way, every year to buy my amazing hand made goats milk soap, and to see this wonderful field day.

Was expecting a rainy day but there were no problems finding lots to see, taste and do out of the drizzle. A lot of work has obviously been done on solid footpaths and drainage.

For country or city folk it is a great weekend. So much planning is evident with heaps of signage and maps to guide you around.

The attractions are staffed by friendly and knowledgeable students from the Agricultural College. All the vendors have the same fun, helpful attitude making it easy to ask plenty of questions.

Rides for the kids and heaps of food and drink options make for a fun, family day out.

It was wonderful to be out and about again. The rain and mud were abit much the Grandaughters loved it especially the pony rides. I was disappointed for them as they got two circuits of the small yard and didn't get our moneys worth but overall just being out in the country air at Tocal was fabulous

What a fun family day out in the lower Hunter Valley!
Many things to see and do, lots of different stands with a number of newcomers.
Many different foods and drinks to try and majority of the stallholders were very friendly.
All in all, a great day out with the family and a few things bought to take home. What more could anyone want from an $18 entry ticket!?

Great day at Tocal, everything Agriculture & Horticulture

How good is Tocal Field day? The crowds are busy but still manageable. So much variety and things of interest... for farmers and townies

Even though the weather was not great we enjoyed the experience. It was well organised and everyone even though they were wet were all very pleasant and happy. I bought some delicious olives and a beautiful organic tea blend. Will revisit next year and hopefully the weather will be better

Amazing family day! So much to see & do. We look forward to it every year.

Great exhibit! Music, food, stalls and things for the kids. Can be muddy so if its been wet wear gum boots or work boots. Also can be a long walk back to car park although there was a courtesy bus to entrance.
