We visited this shop last year to buy a bike, and this year we returned to purchase another one. The staff is consistently helpful and knowledgeable about the bikes they offer.

Plus, they provide 1x free servicing after purchase, making the overall experience quite positive.

Walked in to the Mitchell store after going to two other stores in Fyshwick and getting 0 service.
The boys in the Mitchell store were not only prompt in their service but also had great product knowledge. Highly recommend and will be back.

Took my daughters bike in to the team because there was something wrong with the gears. They were very friendly, professional and very helpful. The bike was fixed, as well as somethings other than the gears, in less than 24 hours! Excellent customer service.

Took my Dahon Mariner D8 for free first tune up and safety check at Mitchell as 'Club 99' member - included adjustments, test ride, and installation of side mirror that I purchased while waiting.

Called in to ask a few questions in regards to getting a new brake lever and Dylan picked up. Answered all my questions, was polite, respectful and really informative. One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had and it was over the phone. Get this man a raise

My new e-bike is a thing of beauty! I was not sure whether to get an e-bike or not, but walked out with a bike I am incredibly happy with. It is super speedy, sturdy and so easy to ride. The discounts were generous and at no point did I feel I was getting the "hard sell." The information was open and honest, catering for all budgets. I will definitely drive down to Canberra to this bike shop for servicing and future sales. Totally recommend!

Just picked up my 15 year old VERY neglected bike after a full service. The team were absolutely amazing, so helpful and my bike looks brand new. As a plus sized person wanting to get fit, some stores can be a bit condescending but these peeps treated me like any other customer. Hence why we walked out with a second bike for my husband! We’ll be back for sure. Thank you so much again.

Sam was amazing. I had done my research but found I had made some mistakes with sizing. Sorted me out real quick and even helped me with some accessory advice I had again made a mistake. The other staff helped me with even more questi9ns while Sam got my bike adjusted and ready. Definitely coming back to get the rest of the family bikes.

Big shout out to Vic and the service team. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I had some minor issues with my bike. Concise and accurate information helped me get back on the road quickly. Would highly recommend getting work done there.

People who work here are true jewels, and I admire their attention to detail. I had a fantastic experience with Bikes 99 Mitchell since they solved my E-bike's brake problem to the millimetre. Thank you for your assistance.

I bought a mountain bike and some basic accessories, Dylan helped me get through all the stuff and explained everything with patience according to my budget. Everybody working over there is knowledgeable and experienced in bikes. I can recommend this place if anyone is interested in buying bikes, accessories or even getting some service.

Update: I visited after 6 months for service, staff were knowledgeable and experienced. But they were not that polite. Maybe they have a hectic day in front dealing with all the customers, but from a customer point of view it's the only experience they get. Hope they understand the situation and work on it. And i will try to visit again soon.

Customer service was excellent and all queries I had were addressed in a helpful manner.

Big thankyou to Cam and Chris, for their help and patience with my questions over the last couple of days. Was a friendly and easy process to be able to take the bike out for a ride first, and appreciated the time and care in helping me understand the important features to get best out of my test and decision making. Also, went above and beyond to swap pedals off my old bike, which were close to welded on, without losing composure 😂 All around today a really positive customer service experience!

First purchase was my son's bike , great advice.
Second purchase was to service my 3 year old Avanti commuter bike.Service was so good , bike rides beautifully now.Son & I now riding bikes on long rides around the lake.
