Vinnies

I visited a few Vinnie's stores today and I was pleasantly surprised with how well priced the clothing was at Smithfield, especially compared to the Vinnies in Bungalow. I did notice a sign out the front of the Smithfield Vinnies saying that the Blue Bins had been removed for donations because of theft and vandalism. Which made me feel sad. It might just be destructive kids but it also might be people who really need clothing. People are really doing it tough at the moment so please think about donating to Vinnies but also to places like Ruth's Women's Shelter. Especially if you have baby and kids stuff that's in good condition. Just a thought.

This is one of the most reasonable priced Vinnie's I've shopped in! The ladies were friendly and my girls and I were able to get a few new outfits within our budget! Thankyou ladies for being generous with your time volunteering and for running an affordable store!

Went in today, got a lovely warm welcome! Came away with some Lee Cooper jeans, 2 pairs of earrings, two tops.. one was just jeans for $1 and 3 cushions! For just $17.50! Everything was what I expected to pay, place was clean, staff and Volunteers where all lovely! 🥰❤😍

Friendly staff and super organized

Great shop. But EXPENSIVE compared to many others! Paid $35 for a child booster seat. Then saw a similar free one at our local op shop 😕

I dropped off a fairly substantial donation, including a large number of books, having called the day before. The books were packed in polystyrene boxes which I need for my own. Unfortunately the staff were not at all helpful, even including refusing to allow me to use empty boxes they had at the door. I had to repack into what I had to hand.

Buyers of DVDs beware! This store charges PER disk not per title - eg if the title comes with a bonus disk of outtakes or info you get charged an additional fee! Understandable if it's actually additional movie disks but not when it's a "bonus" disk with just rubbish on it 🤔
Shop elsewhere for better value.
