Charnwood Food & Wine

Food was delicate and delicious. I was impressed with the price that being so affordable for such gourmet food. Actually they felt cheaper than pub dinner.
Probably because one main meal comes with a free drink.
The service was much better than last year. Waiter and waitresses were attentive.

Mains were pork belly +apple, jus,mash
Perry street lamb cutlets mash + gravy
Desert lemon meringue pie & vanilla bean ice cream
Yummo absolutely delicious

We had a lovely night out here. We shared a garlic bread with cheese for entree which was very tasty. For mains we had the duck (special) and the chicken schnitzel. The duck was exceptionally cooked and I couldn’t fault the chicken either. Service was also amazing.

As my Mother was visiting from Queensland I decided to take her to the only place in Mudgee that serve fresh seafood once a month, direct from New Castle. Not only was the meal delicious but the wait staff were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and a vast knowledge of the wine list. Thank you Charnwood for a memorable night, which my Mum still raves about.

Very glad we stopped here for dinner. Service was professional yet warm and welcoming. The braised lamb and the roast lamb were both delicious and the Charnwood Shiraz we had was better than the 3 wineries we visited on our short stay in Mudgee.

We were in Mudgee for the cycle event, and visited Charnwood the Saturday evening. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was really, really good. I had a steak and house potato fries, and this was definitely one of the top 3 steaks I have had in the last 2 years. The Sticky Date pudding was also really nice. I will definitely go back to Charnwood when I am in Mudgee again.

Been thinking of trying the seafood platter for sometime now and finally booked on Good Friday. Just spectacular.!

The food was very beautiful. The entree recommended by one of the friendly staff was a beetroot and goats cheese tart and it lived up to the recommendation, was so amazing. We had the beer battered barramundi, salad and chips with house made tartare sauce for the main and it was so fresh and yummy. All the staff were attentive and friendly, we will definitely come back to dine next time we are in town.

We had a well cooked and well presented evening meal at Charnwood Food and Wine. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Our Charnwood Shiraz accompanied our meal well.

I booked a table at Charnwood Food and Wine for my parents as it was my dad’s birthday. My parents raved about their meals, I received photos of their food and his dessert with a candle on it! It absolutely made his birthday! Thank you so much for making it so special!

Last minute decision, we were not disappointed.
