Vault Games Brisbane City

Today I spent a most excellent day relaxing and building Warhammer 40k minis I had bought in store.
They set me up on a table with a paint cloth and I spent the next 5 hours there!
They are friendly, encouraging, welcoming, nerdy people!

Cassie has been a pleasure to deal with!! Gave us timely updates on a well anticipated board game (Stardew Valley) and I could not be more pleased!! My order was packaged, shipped and arrived at my door all within 2 days (Qld - Tas). Such a turn around having waited on back order for ages while new games were being printed. Buy from Vault Games you will be looked after!!

Amazing staff and so many board games sold here. I found nearly all the ones I was looking for! Also they have a space for people to play games, it’s spacious and airconditioned too. Will definitely be coming here in the future! They also have a discord group so you can plan gaming groups beforehand.

Amazing stock and customer service. Great place to go for a coffee as well- they do awesome drink specials! I recommend booking a table, getting coffee or alcohol and renting board games (complimentary with your drinks)

Having taken part in a Star Wars Shatterpoint beginners session and then an intro to Magic The Gathering here, I can say with certainty that this is the best games shop in Brisbane, if not QLD. The staff are amazing (shout-out to Dylan and Rhiannon). I will definitely be back.

I wasn't expecting the level of customer service and knowledge that Trent and Pippin had when I spoke to them over the phone.

I had a question about TCG cards and not only did the team answer it in full, they were patient, very comprehensive and even took time to back their comments up with market price and research - it was very clear that Trent and Pippin live and breathe TCG

Trent invited me to come visit and play some games and have some drinks in-store - I just might be seeing them sometime soon after such a great phone call and dedication to customer service!!

Amazing FLGS. I will always shop here for all of my hobby needs. Cade and Becks at the Clayfield Store are extremely friendly and always pleasant to deal with. Trent in the city is extremely helpful and has given me heaps of cool ideas for painting and playing. Cassie is an absolute legend! She was able to secure stock of a Warhammer box that has proven hard to come by. Thanks for all your great work!

Good store with a good mix of tabletop, boardgame and card game supplies. Good customer service and a large variety of products. Store also does tabletop and card game events regularly

staff here is welcoming and lovely, good place for fancy dice and a good amount of games! my girlfriend and i often come here to play magic the gathering! its full of nerds and quite comfortable

I have been a regular customer at this boardgame shop for around six years, and I can confidently say that 99.99% of my experiences here have been nothing short of fantastic. The friendly staff and the welcoming community have always made my visits enjoyable and worthwhile.

However, I've noticed a recent change that has slightly marred my otherwise positive experiences. One of the staff members at the counter who, unfortunately, doesn't seem to share the same enthusiasm and warmth as the rest of the team. This individual's demeanor is consistently emotionless, and they appear somewhat disinterested in assisting customers. This is quite surprising and out of character for this shop, as all the other staff members are typically very helpful and greet customers with a smile.

I want to clarify that this is not a personal critique, but rather an observation that I believe could be addressed for the betterment of the shop's overall customer service. Despite this, I still love this shop and will continue to support it. I hope that this feedback can be taken constructively and that all staff members can contribute to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that I've come to associate with vault over the years.

You have to purchase a drink to sit down to play. But drinks were fairly cheap (a typical bundaberg) and there were tons of board games to choose from. Admittedly, I hadnt played much board games since preschool, so I was completely clueless (lost every round). However, just sitting down and laughing with few friends brought back long forgotten childhood memories. Perhaps I'm giving the store too much credit but I thoroughly enjoyed being there.

Absolutely love this place! Staff there were super friendly and accommodating, free sitting with no pressure to buy food/drinks, and reasonably priced items. I am very excited to try my new board game, and apparently they have wifi too! (But I didn't try it) should be coming back here, hopefully soon!

Great range of games. The ability to try before you buy is a boon. They host some fantastic events, recently attended a magic the gathering prerelease. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Was helped by Jason & he was so lovely!! Brought some deck boxes & sleeves to the counter, once he learns im buying these for gwent cards he was immediately so helpful in letting me know these sleeves wouldnt fit the cards. He asked me a few more questions & really helped me out! He was then SO knowledgeable, i had no idea there was so much to consider when sleeving cards. Also the stuff are just so lovely, when i tell them "best value for money" they actually help me do the maths!!

Great selection of games and miniatures, friendly staff, always running some event or another. Nice big tables available to be booked for board games, card games or TTRPGS, or if you come in and there is a table free you can try out some games from their fairly expansive in-store game library, and maybe find something you like so much you pick up a copy before heading home. Awesome atmosphere, I'm a loyal customer, and I'm always excited to pop in and see what's new.

Gentleman working 21/04/23 was extremely pleasant, kind and incredibly inviting. Awesome atmosphere and clean shop! Hope to come again and please, bring in some Yu-Gi-Oh or any sort of event: from small like Speed Duel, to the usual Standard format, it would be nice to come in and play a bit more variety of cards!

Great selection of games, friendly and helpful staff and a great vibe. Fully recommend this place for somewhere my fellow geeks can feel at home.

The best shopping experience I’ve ever had.
As soon as I started looking an employee offered help with what I needed. I was after paints for my first time painting minis and this employee was instantly helpful, honest about the products and overall sounded like he really cared about what you said and what he was recommending. Once I payed, (which during payment another employee at the desk was super nice and polite) I continued to browse the store, at the time I could overhear the guy that helped me talking to other fellow customers which proved he was a great employee all round and cares about the games and hobbies people do. Not sure if he wanted his name to be said but honestly everyone in the store was polite and helpful, down to earth and gave a great experience. Will 100% be back as much as possible.
