Spicers Guesthouse

We stayed here for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. Check-in was smooth and they had a special room arrangement for us that we were really grateful for. The rooms are spotless, really cosy and well equipped. They even had some medicines ready for the headache after too many wines! They also brought us to our restaurant reservation. The next night we also ate at the hotel's restaurant which was good too. Breakfast is nice and when you sit outside you have view. The pool and jacuzzi are perfect for some relaxation. All in all this is not the most affordable place but definitely worth the money! Great hotel!

We only stayed for one night but have left feeling completely relaxed and recharged. The rooms and grounds are beautiful. There is absolutely no reason to leave the hotel as the food and service is outstanding! We have already recommended it to our families and can’t wait to return ourselves. A very luxurious and memorable stay. See you next time! :)

Amazing place. Amazing staff and location. Obviously this is high end but thankfully it is worth every cent. You see the care and service all around you. The rooms are clean and well thought out. The beds are so damn comfortable you have to drag yourself out of them to enjoy your surroundings. The food was amazing and well crafted. The whole vibe is just relaxing. We have a young son, so most of our holidays consist of slides and water parks and scooters so this was a welcome change. My son just aimlessly wandered amongst the trees and nature and then chilled around the pool and we all find some genuine downtime. Great place. Will definitely return!

Our son and his new bride booked this venue for their wedding. It was wonderful. Beautiful grounds, privacy from other groups. Walking tracks, pool and spa, lounge areas. Modern rooms tastefully decorated. The food package for the wedding was impressive. Lots of food and great variety. No fear of anyone being hungry. The wedding space was changed because of the wet weather and was beautiful. Reception area for the wedding allowed guests to be inside or outside. The staff are a feature of this Guesthouse. They are a great team who are there to ensure guests enjoy the celebration. After the wedding finished, guests were able to continue celebrating around a fire pit that was away from guest rooms so they weren't disturbed.

This is a family trip that my mother went to hunter valley first time. I am happy she had great image on this hotel for celebrating her birthday. It’s a cozy hotel that there are nice food ,nice room and nice view. I will visit here again definitely.

Such a amazing experience from the wonderful hilly terrain to the amazing staff.
Was here for a wedding recently to have one of the best experiences I have witnessed away from home.
The room didn't only smell and look amazing but the staff and and food was unbelievable.
Would recommend for the little get away or even for the big wedding.

We had our wedding at Spicers and were over the moon with how everything turned out. We had everything onsite, and all of our guests stayed onsite too which made for a really intimate day. The wedding was perfect - Maisie did a phenomenal job and ensured everything ran smoothly and kept our vendors all on track, the venue itself is gorgeous and no pictures can do it justice. The rooms are very clean, modern and spacious and the food was an absolute hit. I couldn't recommend them more for functions or a stay!

Beautiful place, great staff, great food. Rooms very well done. Lovely views across lake / valley, also not far from local shops. Well worth the extra money vs some of the other local places. Would be great spot for wedding or party !

What a beautiful resort. We were spoiled to have two nights gifted to us by our children and it was a memorable stay. We ate in eRemo on both nights and had exceptional meals. The room was luxurious and we basically had the lovely pool & spa to ourselves. Memorable Hunter getaway, thank you Spicers and staff.

Spicers Guesthouse in Pokolbin is your ultimate relaxing getaway. The rooms and the grounds are immaculate. Staff and services are personalized and excellent. It is an amazing experience every single time we stay there. I can highly recommend Spicers Guesthouse.

Two days at this tranquil retreat was the most wonderfully relaxing experience anyone could wish for. Fantastic food, staff and pool. Wish I could be there right now.

I would have to say this is by far the best place to stay in the hunter valley . The staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and I mean exactly that . The lovely gentleman at the bar , the kitchen staff and I cannot thank Chloe enough for her kindness and care .she is a true asset to this place and understands what hospitality means . Nothing was ever too much for her. I cannot wait to stay here again . Thank you Chloe , the team at Spicers are lucky to have you. The kitchen staff also were amazing, my sincere thanks to them .

We attended a wedding last night and Rachel is super amazing!!! She tended to everything for us from bins to giving us slip-on shoes so we could boogie on the d-floor

What a wonderful place! My two daughters and I have had the most relaxing time. The staff are so welcoming, relaxed and accommodating. The breakfast is excellent and the staff at the restaurant are so warm
and professional. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. The pool facilities are fantastic, ability to order food and drinks to the pool area makes it extra relaxing. Highly personalised experience in every interaction, which is hard to find these days. Can’t wait to be back here..

my boyfriend and i extended our stay by an extra night literally two hours after we checked in because we loved the place so much! everyone was so welcoming and professional, and the property is beautiful and well maintained. it was very relaxing, there's seating and fireplaces all around the property. the restaurant is soooo good as well as the breakfast. we also didn't plan anything for our trip and the staff gave us a hand with recommendations to visit in the hunter (Jace & Phillip!). the location is also great as well - only 5min from most wineries. we can't wait to come back!
