Came in for a day surgery. Was greeted by a man called Ray. Ray was a volunteer and he took me to the location of my day surgery. He was brilliant! Best experience I’ve had at the hospital so far. Caught up with Ray and a patient Ian post procedure, they both had served our country and had some brilliant stories. Even though hospitals aren’t known to be enjoyable places ray definitely made my day.

Please let him know this.

I am a veteran and have been admitted to Greenslopes Hospital numerous times. I have nothing but the highest respect for all members of staff. My attitude toward staff is to be polite and respectful. This is always rewarded with a similar attitude by the Staff.

I believe that Greenslopes Hospital is the peak health care facility in Brisbane.

Clean large rooms with ensuites and great food. Such friendly helpful nurses, best hospital I've been to by far... Highly recommend.! Shout out to Dee, Kristy and Bee from Ward 12, Jean Pockett wing, Jason says thanks 😊
I'd also like to say a special thank you to Dr Crawford and his team. They are the Best in the business. Professional and timely care. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I went to the Greenslopes Private Emergency centre and it was the best 24hr emergency centre I've ever been to. It is its own separate building and is as big as some of the major public hospital emergency rooms (except of course you actually get seen promptly). The nurses were incredible and I was very lucky to get Dr Rohan who was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Yes, it's a lot of money to spend, so you might as well go to the place with the free coffee and hot chocolate in the waiting area, juice and sandwiches, warm blankets and amazing staff.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the hospital and its incredible team for the exceptional support and care we received during my cesarean section. The nurses and Midwife were outstanding, the food was worthy of a 5-star hotel, and Dr. Melissa Mckenzie proved to be the best in the world. Every detail of our stay was handled with professionalism and warmth, making us feel cared for and comfortable. Even after 5 days, I would have wished to extend our stay because they made us feel at home. Highly recommended! Thank you all for making this moment so special and peaceful for my baby and me. 👶🌟"

I have had several operations/procedures done at GPH over the last 2 .5 years. I have found every person I have come in contact with to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I feel I am always in good hands at this Hospital.

Despite some minor issues I encountered initially. However, this hospital is a great one. They have excellent specialists doctors and physicians who monitor their patients very closely. Very well trained nurses whom are knowledgeable and lovely to deal with. All in all it has become my first choice after this experience.

I had a day surgery here and I was so comfortable. The hospital was highly organised and staff are so lovely. Before being taken to the theatre, I had a good laugh with nurses and my doctor and I was so relaxed. I can't have gluten/dairy and they looked after me very well. I really appreciate all the hard work and support staff provided given the fact that nurses are under so much pressure. Keep up the good work lovely people 😘😘😘😘

We have recently returned from our 5 night stay at Greenslopes Maternity. We were absolutely blown away by our experience. The midwives we met were truly amazing human beings and always ensured bub and I were monitored and looked after. The tea and coffee facilities were great, the meals, and the additional “all day menu” powered us through (we particularly loved the mango smoothies, brownies, banana bread and carrot cake). The double bed room was great to stay in (like a hotel!) - we moved there once I was up and moving after my delivery of bub. The first 2 days post delivery were not easy as I was in pain - but the nurses made me smile which is the best medicine. Normally you want to leave the hospital to get home - but we didn’t want to leave. From the nurse that held my hand during surgery - to the nurse that followed us out when we were discharged from the hospital - thank you. The way this ward runs is fantastic. My partner also felt like he was part of the experience while he stayed with me. Recruitment is top notch in this ward - all smart and switched on nurses - so whoever is in charge - you are doing amazing at running this ward. I will forever remember my stay here - it was truly special. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Greenslopes Private Hospital is super clean and highly organised. My room was cleaned n dusted every day. Sheets changed every day and shower cleaned immediately after I finished my shower.
Staff were happy and helpful and so considerate.
I mentioned I was a little dizzy one morning and the nurse insisted I not get out of bed unless a nurse was there with me. I was helped to the shower and the nurse stayed with me and helped me back to bed.
The nursers went above and beyond and were always happy n polite. Well done Greenslopes great Hospital.

I have been to Greenslopes Private a few times now. A couple of times in the Emergency and once as an inpatient, all times have been amazing. I can’t fault it. The nurses were brilliant - kind, caring, thorough and the doctors were thorough and professional. I felt safe and in good hands at all times. Thanks Greenslopes.

Whilst on holidays in Tasmania in May 2023 I fell and broke my ankle in 3 places. Once back in Brisbane my ankle needed surgery. I had the wonderful orthopaedic surgeon Dr. David L. Miller and his wonderful team for my surgery.

I was admitted to Ward 35 and later to 37 I can honestly say what a great team/staff on these wards. From the moment I was admitted to my lovely room staff were there attending to me and asking if I needed anything for pain etc....

Night and day shift staff were absolutely wonderful caring, polite and attentive. The PCA Neil on this ward was so caring and attentive, nothing is ever an effort for him. And I can truly say the meals were lovely, nothing was too much effort. I was discharged on the Saturday morning but, had to wait for my medication for 4hrs. Just one area where this needs to be looked at is the waiting for pharmacy. Overall thank you Greenslopes for your professionalism and wonderful service. Keep up the great work that you all do. Thank you.

Usually before I go anywhere new, I’ll read some reviews just to get an idea of what I may expect. I can confidently say that I had a 10/10 experience with my day surgery. I’m pretty bad with needles and hospitals, I freeze up due to being soo nervous but every staff member made me feel at ease, and weren’t judgemental at all from the moment I walked in until I left! Their duty of care standards are amazing. Thank you to all the team 💯 recommend!!

Staff here truly take pride in delivering the best possible care, from the wonderful nurses, dedicated doctors and specialists, even to the amazing catering and pristine cleaning staff.
You could not be in better hands when needed most.

In particular, I must thank Dr Chris Corney, whose diligence quite literally saved my life.
When every option seemed exhausted, and every moment was spent in agony, it was hard to keep going. No one, it seemed, could help.
It was at the moment I most needed strength that Dr Corney promised he would find whatever was causing it, and get me home to my family. He began personally reviewing every result and found what had been missed.
In the end, once found, simple day surgery and a regimen of prescriptions turned a nightmare into a path to recovery.
Beyond that, Dr Corney was able to diagnose a number of other conditions and referred me to Specialists that help me live a (mostly) normal life to this day.

A credit to this fine Hospital indeed.

Our baby had come five weeks early and was in Greenslopes Maternity special care for three weeks after he was born. What should have been a scary time, the nurses gave us every bit of confidence this was where he needed to be, they looked after him (and me) and genuinely loved him like he was theirs. The nurses Mary, Celin and Sam are one of a kind and we will be forever grateful for your love and care for our three weeks with you. Highly recommend the Greenslopes Maternity, I will never go anywhere else.

Love Rebecca and Gabriel xx

I went into Greenslopes for a laparoscopy and unfortunately had urinary retention but the care I have received has just been incredible. Every single doctor, nurse and staff member has made me feel so comfortable and cared for. Thank you so much for looking after me 🙏🏻

I went in for open heart surgery, The surgeon Dr Paul Peters can walk on water with holes in his feet, a brilliant surgeon, who is compassionate, humble, hard working and has a sense of humour.
The staff in all other levels of the hospital are fantastic, especially the guys in the ICU and ward 45.
These people DO NOT get paid enough, without exception they display the levels of competency that we, the public, have come expect from the medical profession.
I can't fault anything they did for me. I was out of there faster, in better condition and with far fewer hassles that I have witnessed at hospitals such as Ipswich.
