Maleny Country Estate

We had a great weekend stay in the Maleny Country Estate. It was a beautiful property that was built with so much love and attention to detail by Micheal, Victoria and Amanda. There was 7 of us ( 3 Adults + 4 kids ) that stayed in one of the cottage and it was clean & cozy enough for us. The kitchen was quipped with all the cooking necessities. It was our first time up in Maleny. The location was not too far from the town , however due to the heavy downpour it does become slightly muddy in certain parts while driving into the estate. Other than that, we had a beautiful view of the valley and mountains and it was a great weekend away. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place, views were amazing (cottage no 5). Beautiful swimming pool overlooking the valley and even more important family run business with lovely people. Would love to come back.

The location is divine, the cottages are so well thought-out and unique. The main house & pool are incredible, so much attention to detail has been put into the renovations while keeping original history & charm. Michael & Victoria are beautiful people who are so passionate about what they are doing! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful Place. We stayed in the Stone Cottage and the place was very comfortable and tidy. Our hosts checked us in and we felt like we had the farm to ourselves it was quiet. Once this place is completed and everything is open for use it will be one popular destination. Highly recommend for a couple of nights away in peace and quiet.

We stayed in the stone cottage for our honeymoon and I could not recommend more. The staff were so friendly and thoughtful on check in, all the soaps and bubble soak were fantastic, the location and weather were so beautiful, and the cottage so gorgeous we didn't ever want to leave. We could not have been happier with our stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you Maleny Country Estate.

This is the cleanest and most picturesque cottage I've ever stayed in. The cottage had everything we needed - a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. It only takes 8 minutes to reach nearby supermarkets and cafes, making it incredibly convenient.Without a doubt, it was a stay worth every penny. Plus, the staff is nearby, so if you ever need anything, they're just a call away. I will definitely come back with my family in the future.

What a stunning place! My two besties and I enjoyed an overnight stay (sadly, not long enough) in a 3 bedroom cottage. No 5 cottage had breathtaking views. All rooms were beautifully furnished and the full kitchen was excellent. We loved the fireplace and thoughtful inclusions like marshmallows and hot chocolate. I will be returning for a romantic getaway with hubby. Highly recommended!

A much needed weekend getaway. From check in to check out the experience was perfect. Communication before and during the getaway was impeccable. The hospitality of the owners was ideal. The pride they have in their property is so evident and so lovely to see. Our cabin (7) was divine. So many little touches that made the experience even better. Highly recommend this for any experience. Turn your phone off and enjoy!

I can't begin to explain how simple everything was from the booking to arriving, the hardest part was leaving. Can not fault anything!

The perfect weekend getaway to the country. Beautiful country cottages for a family to stay. We wanted an indoor fireplace & firepit - the cottage has both. The kids had a ball lighting fires and chilling out with the marshmallows. Private and very clean - would recommend it!

An absolutely amazing place for a relaxing getaway. The hosts are incredibly friendly and obliging, the grounds host a breathtaking view of the surrounds, and the cottage itself is the perfect blend of rustic simplicity and modern luxury, with handcarved beams and stone walls alongside the slick, full functional modern kitchen and stunning bathroom. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

We were recommended to stay by a friend who had his wedding on the property. The place is amazing. All of the accommodation is so spread out, everything is so well thought out from the best, to the roads to the shampoos and conditioners. The owners Vic and Mike are incredibly accommodating, you can tell that they love what they do. Would recommend Maleny Country Estate to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue or a trip to relax in quiet Maleny.

From the time we arrived at this fantastic property at the front gate it was beautiful. Driving down the tree studded entry to the amazing chalet that we stayed in. It was a very different beautiful estate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Well done Maleny country estate, highly recommend. Davin and Cathy.

We eloped at Maleny Country Estate, and it was the most perfect wedding venue. It is stunning! We looked at a few different options in our search and nothing came close to the Maleny Country Estate. The view, the cottage, the accommodation, as soon as we saw it, we had to book. One of the biggest positives of the venue is you don't have to travel anywhere. You get ready in the onsite accommodation, walk over to the ceremony, have your photos taken around the beautiful grounds.
To top things off our day was made perfect by the incredible friendly and helpful staff. 10/10

Wow! Talk about getting away from the hustle and bustle! This is the perfect getaway but with all the convenience of home. Not too far from Maleny township that has well...everything! The views were amazing, bedding was luxe, waking up to beautiful sunrises through the mountains, birdlife,sunsets,peace and quiet! No WiFi....but who cares! Big thank you to Amanda our host who went all out! Didn't want to leave! But as Arnie said "I'll be back".

We had our 180 person wedding in late October at Maleny Country Estate, the day and the site could not have been better if we tried. Amanda, Mike and Victoria worked tirelessly to ensure everything would be as perfect as could be for us, and it was. The bridal suite was luxury, with so much thought put into the final touches, including robes, a room with Hollywood mirrors for getting ready and plenty of space to enjoy the morning with family and the bridal party. The site itself was stunning, incredible views and so much greenery. If we could do it all over again we would.

Our stay at the stone cottage was wonderful. It’s a great, character filled place to base yourself if you’re planning any activities around the Sunshine Coast or coming up to the hills for a wedding. It was fascinating to see how the cottage was built and to learn of Michael and Victoria's respect to the original owners vision for the entire property.

The cottage is newly renovated, spotlessly clean with thoughtful decor, and plenty of room to put your bags/cases/hanging clothes. The bed was wonderfully comfortable with crisp bedding and big fluffy pillows.

We appreciated the large, soaker tub and that the bathroom had plenty of bench space to spread out (perfect if you are preparing for an event or dinner out—many other places don't have this luxury). In addition quality toiletries were provided.

The wood fireplace kept the cottage toasty which was great as the temperature dropped.

The kitchenette is practical for self catering and the cottage was a spacious overall.

While the larger property is still a work in progress, there are plenty of quiet, scenic spots to relax in. It’s clear that a lot of love has gone into restoring and providing these accommodations.

Thanks again to Victoria and Michael for hosting us. We hope we get to see the grand plans unfold.

Maleny country estate is one of those rare places that you arrive as guests, but leave as family.
Our wedding wouldn’t have been possible without the Team at Maleny country estate; Mick, Victoria and Amanda made planning a wedding enjoyable and went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was comfortable.
The venue and accomodation are breathtaking and the natural backdrop of Maleny made it feel like we had traveled back in time, when really we were only an hour out of Brisbane.
We have lost count of how many times we have been back, but we will keep going as long as they will keep having us.
With our first daughter on her way we can’t wait to show her our home away from home, it’s the first place we are going

Bruce & I hosted our wedding day at Maleny Country Estate in March. Amanda, Mick and Victoria where absolutely amazing, they went over and above to make sure we had the most wonderful day. They answered all our questions and did all in their power to meet all of our special requests. We booked accommodation for many of our guests as well which made it even more special. The landscape and the views on the estate are absolutely breathtaking. We could not have asked for more. I cannot thank them enough for their contribution and help in making that day THE best day of our lives!
