We had the most wonderful few days staying here. We were made to feel at home from when we first met Paula our marvellous host who couldn't do enough for us. The place is immaculate and very impressive. We loved the atmosphere with the fire place, comfy chairs and antique furniture. The breakfasts were delicious and made to our taste. We highly recommend Loggers Rest and can't wait to go back again.

Had a wonderful stay here. The home is just stunning and nothing was too much trouble for Paula - what a wonderful hostess. We spent the weekend with three of our friends so the eight of us had the house to ourselves - made some wonderful fun memories. The fire pit was a highlight as were the yummy breakfasts. Thank you Paula for an extremely comfortable stay. Lin and Ted.

Paula is a fantastic host and her cooked breakfast with fresh coffee was devine. Our room was spacious and we would recommend staying here. It is down a beautiful rural road but so close to town.

Wow, do yourself a favour and experience the best Stanthorpe has.
Step in and experience this beautiful home speaking to you, saying welcome home.
The smell of a well cooked breakfast draws you to a friendly seat at the table with plenty of smiles and a proud host who can’t do enough for you.
Thank you Paula for your awesome heart in what you do, your old fashioned friendship and the ease at how you do what you do.
We will definitely be back to annoy you again.
Keep up the good work.

Despite the rain we had an awesome 3 days in stanthorpe. The accommodation was excellent, the surrounds were great and our host Leoni was terrific. Thank you very much.

To say that this place is amazing doesn't do it justice. Paula is the most amazing host, happy to assist with your enjoyment of this wonderful B&B. From the expansive porches to relax on, to the warm cozy fireplace in the sitting room, as well as comfortable beds and well situated rooms, there's nowhere else in the area that my wife and I will stay. Paula readily accommodated my wife's dietary requirements, and was a joy to talk to on arrival. The proximity to Stanthorpe and everything in it is perfect. This place is truly a home away from home. If you're in the area, it's worth giving it a try. Updated 26 Jan 2024 - This is still our go to place to stay in the area. A new second lounge area has been added, complete with a record player and records. Nice comfortable couches provide ample seating for quite a few people.

Thanks a million.
Paula is an absolute superstar.
We arrived in Stanthorpe only to realise that I booked a completely different date weeks away.
We were lucky enough that other customers had cancelled for the night and Paula immediately sprung into action and got us a room ready.
The house is stunning and the rooms are gorgeous and super clean. Everything is thought off incredibly well.
Highly recommend.

The only complaint you could ever have about Logger's Rest is that, at some point, you have to leave.
Paula is welcoming and friendly, the house and rooms are beautiful.
Also want to thank Wendy and Brian for their hospitality.

The host Paula is very informative and has lots of stories to tell. The breakfast is amazing and cooked to your liking, nothing is no trouble. Our room was very comfortable and clean. This is our second time at Loggers Rest, first time was with previous owners. Paula has done a lots of improvements including large carport, fire pit and lots of beautiful plants. Wow, wow, wow is the best description for Loggers Rest, anyone looking for a break in Stanthorpe, this is the place to stay. We booked the entire house, 5 bedrooms which all have their own ensuites! Paula is the perfect host, she came in each morning and cooked a delicious breakfast. The house is huge and beautifully styled and spotlessly clean. Paula had a roaring fire on our arrival which kept the house warm for our stay. She includes lots of little extras, brewed coffee, tea, chocolates, lovely locally made bathroom products. We will be back, Paula.

The house is spacious, warm and immaculate. Two fires to keep the living area warm and no smoke! The bedroom and ensuite are spacious and have aircon.
I love the framed old photos.
Personalised breakfast was good with local jams to try.

My second stay at Logger's Rest, and not my last. What a fabulous atmosphere, it was like returning to visit a close friend. Paula is a wonderful host and her breakfasts are filling, tasty and well presented. The handwash, shampoo and conditioner are locally made with quality products. My hair felt like it was being pampered with the lemon myrtle scent. Looking forward to next year's visit.

Excellent accommodation and service. Paula was very welcoming, a wonderful host and very friendly. The beds are to die for- slept like a 'log' 😀. Mattress best I have experienced in accommodation. Breakfast was perfect. I will be planning on another stay.

I recently stayed at Logger’s Rest with a bunch of girlfriends and can’t speak highly enough of it. The place itself is warm and cozy with very comfortable beds and stunning decor. Paula went above and beyond for us to make sure we saw the best of Stanthorpe and was a wealth of knowledge on the local region. She and Lori put on an amazing breakfast each morning and made us feel right at home. I will absolutely be staying again!

We were so lucky to find this homely B&B gem in Stanthorpe. Paula is a very friendly host who always wants her guests to feel at home during their stay. We love the beautiful three blossoms trees in the front entrance. The King bedroom and bed was very cozy and the breakfast was wholesome (not to be missed!) Perfect for a couple or 4 couples seeking a break to the granite belt region. Highly recommended!!! From Kye & Clara

Loggers Rest was the bomb! We had a great time at this place and wouldn't have changed anything. The place was immaculately clean, the beds were super comfy, the place was really well fitted out, everything worked, there is plenty of space ... I could go on ... and Paula is a great host to boot. Highly Recommend !!!

For all those who haven't stayed at loggers rest, you really don't know what you are missing. Our experience here was so good that we will be coming back to Stanthorpe just to stay here. From Paula's warm and helpful welcome to the beautiful and spotlas Queenslander. Everything was wonderful. If you are looking for an inviting and comfortable place to stay that's close to everything then look no further. Thank you Paula for creating such a beautiful place and for your commitment to making each and every guest feel unique. We are now planning our next visit.

We both stayed recently for two nights with a group of friends (with a couple of them already staying at this same accommodation in previous years). We were welcomed by a bubbly host Paula who proceeded to show us the run of the house. We were told we could use any part of the house and think of it as our own. We all woke to a beautifully warm fire and homemade cooked breakfast. Paula was very accommodating and could be contacted at any time day and night. It was certainly one of our most favourite weekends away as Paula also organised our wine tour with the bus picking us up from the front door. Therefore we have already re-booked our stay with her for July next year.
Thanks again Paula!!
See you next year
Karen & Leanne
